VEHICLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT
A storage compartment of a vehicle including a passenger compartment and a passenger compartment door controlling access to the passenger compartment. The storage compartment includes a base and a side wall surrounding a storage volume. The storage compartment is located forward of a footwell of the passenger compartment, the storage compartment is further positioned so that an opening to the storage volume is accessible from a lateral side of the vehicle.
VEHICLE DOOR WINDOW POSITION CONTROL SYSTEM
A frameless vehicle door includes a window pane, a regulator motor, and a controller. The window pane is configured to being movable between at least a first and a second open position and a closed position. The window pane is configured to extend upward from a top of the door and into a vehicle frame when the window pane is in the closed position. The regulator motor is disposed within the door and is configured to transition the window pane between the open positions and the closed position. The controller is programmed to, in response to a voltage of a battery, that is configured to power the regulator motor, decreasing to less than a threshold and the window pane being in the closed position, transition the window pane to the second open position that is between the first open position and the closed position.
OCCUPANT STEP WITH KICK SENSOR
An occupant step apparatus and method for a vehicle, includes a powered occupant step, a kick sensor mounted to the occupant step, and a controller having processing circuitry. The processing circuitry detects a kick gesture signal from the kick sensor, controls operation of the powered occupant step to move the occupant step, and upon detection of a step gesture signal from the kick sensor while the occupant step is being operated, halts operation of the occupant step.
ASSEMBLY OF AUTOMATIC GATES INCLUDING SUBSTANTIALLY IDENTICAL MOTOR ASSEMBLIES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
This automatic gate assembly includes at least one first automatic gate and at least one second automatic gate. The or each first automatic gate includes a first frame defining a first passage, at least one first obstacle, chosen from the following obstacles: swing leaf, laterally sliding leaf, pivoting leaf, for selectively closing and opening the first passage, and a first motor assembly for moving the first obstacle. The or each second automatic gate includes a second frame defining a second passage, at least one second obstacle, different to the first obstacle and chosen from the following obstacles: swing leaf, laterally sliding leaf, pivoting leaf, for selectively closing and opening the second passage, and a second motor assembly for moving the second obstacle. The first and second motor assemblies are substantially identical to each other.
Electric sunshade and sunroof structure
An electric sunshade and sunroof structure may include cable assembly connected to a drive motor via a cable, sliding longitudinally along each of guide slide assemblies disposed on rails provided on both sides of a roof panel of a vehicle, thus opening or closing a sunshade, and moving integrally with the guide slide assembly to open a sunroof glass, a sunshade guide lever provided on the sunshade and selectively coupled with the cable assembly to move the sunshade, and a guide slide lever provided on a rear end portion of the guide slide assembly and selectively coupled with the cable assembly to move the sunroof glass.
Movable Barrier Screen Assembly
The present invention is generally a movable barrier assembly that includes a screen garage door that may be remotely operated to open and close an entry to a garage, thereby facilitating ventilation, and preventing debris such as leaves, insects, etc. from entering the garage. In an exemplary embodiment, a screen assembly includes a first track running substantially parallel to a second track on which a garage door travels. A movable barrier operator that actuates the garage door and screen door may include a first motor to operate the screen door, and a second motor to operate the garage door. In exemplary embodiments, a single control unit is configured to operate both motors and thus operate each movable barrier.
DOOR DRIVE SYSTEM
A door drive assembly including: a drive arm including a first end configured to be rotatably coupled to the body and a second end configured to be rotatably coupled to the door. The door drive assembly also includes a drive mechanism coupled to the drive arm and configured to rotate the drive arm between an open position and a closed position. The door drive assembly also includes a control arm including a first end configured to be rotatably coupled to a vehicle body and a second end configured to be rotatably coupled to the door. The door drive assembly also includes a race configured to be disposed between the body and the first end of the control arm where the first end of control arm is configured to translate by a first distance along the race as the drive arm rotates between the open and closed positions.
Systems and methods for monitoring automatic doors
Monitoring systems for automatic doors comprise at least one input device configured for sensing at least one characteristic of at least one operational parameter of an automatic door system, a door system controller coupled to the at least one input device, at least one monitor display comprising a first interface operatively coupled to the door system controller, and at least another interface operatively coupled to the at least one monitor display and configured to be operatively coupled to at least one remote display device. The at least one monitor display is configured to continuously request information representative of the at least one operational parameter characteristic from the door system controller and display the information. Methods of monitoring an automatic door system comprise transmitting data representative of an operational parameter characteristic from an input device to at least one door system controller; sending a description of the operational parameter to a monitor display continuously; and displaying indicia representative of the description of the operational parameter.
Multi-access liftgate
A multi-way liftgate assembly providing a plurality of dividers dividing the rear cargo area of a passenger vehicle into a plurality of secure areas assessable from a plurality of panels forming a liftgate to provide controlled access to one or more of those compartments. The vehicle operator has secure control of which portions of the cargo area can be selectively accessed.
