A vehicle includes a door, an inside door handle, and a door opening warning system having an object sensor that detects an object outside the vehicle in a door collision risk zone, a touchless sensor that detects if a part of a user is positioned in an opening zone at the inside door handle and a touch sensor that detects if the user touches the inside door handle, and a control unit. The control unit triggers a first alarm if the object sensor detects an object in the risk zone and the touchless sensor detects a part of the user in the opening zone at the inside door handle, and triggers a second alarm if the object sensor detects an object in the risk zone and the touch sensor detects that the user is touching the inside door handle.

A door status monitoring system includes a switch modulator coupled to a door and a control unit in communication with first and second display elements. A first position switch sends a first signal to the control unit when the switch modulator is proximate to the first position switch when the door is in a closed position. A second position switch sends a second signal to the control unit when the switch modulator is proximate to the second position switch when the door is in an open position. The control unit is configured to maintain the first and second display elements in a deactivated state in response to receiving the first signal, activate the first display element when the control unit is not receiving the first and second signals, and activate the second display element and deactivate the first display element in response to receiving the second signal.

A trolley support system (100) includes at least one intelligent trolley (102) designed for use onboard passenger transportation vehicles such as aircraft. The trolley (102) includes a housing (106) with an internal compartment (108) and a door (110) that provides selective access to the internal compartment. The door is movable between a closed position and an unclosed position. The trolley also includes a control sensor (116) that configured to detect at least one characteristic of the trolley and a visual indicator (122) configured to emit a visual transmission based on the at least one detected characteristic. A trolley node (104) having a controller may be included with the trolley and may be communicatively coupled to the control sensor and the visual indicator.

A door status monitoring system may include a control unit in communication with a first and a second display element. A switch modulator may be coupled to a door. The switch modulator may be proximate to a first position switch when the door is in the closed position that may send a first signal to a control unit, and the control unit may maintain the first and second display elements in a deactivated state in response to receiving the first signal. The switch modulator may be proximate to a second position switch when the door is in the open position that may send a second signal to the control unit. The control unit may activate the first display element when it is not receiving the first and second signals, and the control unit, in response to receiving the second signal, may activate the second display element and deactivate the first display element.

A sensor system for a door is includes a door configured to provide selective access between a first area and a second area; a door controller for controlling whether the door can open or be in a closed and locked position; a motion sensor for detecting motion in an area proximate to the door, the motion sensor configured to be operatively connected to the door controller; an object recognition sensor for recognizing objects in an area proximate to the door and proximate to the area where motion sensor detects motion, the object recognition sensor configured to be operatively connected to the door controller.

An apparatus includes a lamp assembly having a clamp assembly. The clamp assembly is configured to be securely attached to a section of a garage door panel.

A parcel receptacle includes a bottom member, an exterior wall that extends upward from the bottom member and that defines an interior space, and a top member that is coupled with the exterior wall and configured to cover an opening of the receptacle to enclose the parcel within the interior space. The parcel receptacle also includes a lock mechanism that is operably coupled with the top member and the exterior wall. The lock mechanism is lockable to prevent user access to the interior space and is unlockable to enable the top member to be opened to allow user access to the interior space. A vertical lip of the top member overlaps at least a portion of the exterior wall so that a seam between the top member and the exterior wall is covered by the vertical lip.

A multi-way liftgate assembly providing a plurality of dividers dividing the rear cargo area of a passenger vehicle into a plurality of secure areas assessable from a plurality of panels forming a liftgate to provide controlled access to one or more of those compartments. The vehicle operator has secure control of which portions of the cargo area can be selectively accessed. The multi-way liftgate assembly provides multiple secure openings to the cargo area of a vehicle that typically has only one secure opening to the cargo area. The multi-way liftgate assembly provides on-demand open height adjustment.

A safety curtain and system includes multiple light emitters and multiple light receivers to detect traffic approaching a doorway. The safety curtain my include pairs of multiple light emitters and receivers positioned on both sides of a passageway (doorway) so as to detect approaching traffic. The multiple light emitters and light receivers may detect a height of an approaching traffic (e.g., person or vehicle) and initiate warning lights of a possible door closing. The detected approach of traffic may cause the door to be stopped, reversed or slow down. The system may include a computer to monitor the signals from the receivers and may control the motion of the door.

A vehicle includes a cabin and a track assembly. The track assembly is coupled to a portion of the cabin. The track assembly includes a rail assembly. The rail assembly defines an interior aperture. The interior aperture is inaccessible from a top side, a first lateral side, and a second lateral side of the rail assembly. The rail assembly defines a first external channel in the first lateral side and a second external channel in the second lateral side. The first and second external channels receive a carriage power conductor and a carriage data conductor, respectively.
