ELECTRIC SCREEN DEVICE
20180305976 · 2018-10-25 · ·

This electric screen device is provided with an electric motor that causes slidable screen mounting frame part(s) to automatically slide. Torque generated by rotation of a rotation shaft of the electric motor is transmitted to a tension member that is provided inside the screen mounting frame parts, that connects screen guiding frame parts to each other at free ends thereof, and that forms a loop. The tension member moves in a state of being hung around the folded portions which apply tension to the tension member. The slidable screen mounting frame part(s) automatically slide in association with movement of the tension member. Thus, the screen automatically opens and closes.

An automated sliding door closing system to be used with wire mesh enclosures. The door closing system includes support brackets with wire mesh connected between the support brackets. A sliding door track is connected the use of multiple sliding door track connection brackets. Sliding door connection bolts slide within the sliding door track and supports a sliding door. A spring biased closing mechanism is connected to the sliding door track. The spring biased closing mechanism is biased to keep the sliding door closed. A door roller track is rigidly connected to the sliding door. A connection arm is connected between the spring biased closing mechanism and the door roller track. The connection arm includes a roller inserted into the door roller track. A strike plate is rigidly connected to a wire mesh support bracket. The connection arm rotates to close the sliding door after it has been opened.

A component part assembly adapted for use with a window or door screen is provided. One or more component parts are provided which add functionality to a window or door screen. An attachment mechanism is provided for attaching the one or more component parts to a screen frame of the screen subsequent to manufacture of the screen. The one or more component parts may include at least one of a locking component, a guide component, a slide component, a handle component, a pull tab component, a roller component, a wheel component, a hinge component, a pivot cam component, a weather stripping component, a seal component, a frame component, a barcode component, an RFID component, a flexible attachment component, or the like. The screen frame may be a flexible screen frame or a rigid screen frame, and may be for a full or half window screen or a door screen.

UPPER GUIDE TRACK AND ASSEMBLY FOR A RETRACTABLE SCREEN

An upper guide track assembly for a retractable screen is described. The assembly comprises a U shaped guide channel, a track attachment member for attaching the assembly to a support, a track outer member connectable to the attachment member and a screen retaining member within the guide channel. The retaining member receives and retains an upper edge of a screen. The retaining member has two resilient wings extending from either side of the body. Each wing is biased towards a position in which the distal end of each wing is away from the body. The wings are moveable against the bias to a retracted position. When the retaining member is retained in the guide channel, each wing is held in the retracted position against the bias. This allows an upper edge of a screen retained by the screen retaining member to be biased in the vertical direction.

GUIDE TRACK ARRANGEMENT

The disclosure relates to the field of providing a flexible screen which is extensible and retractable across an opening. It is desirable to provide a bottom guide track which is convenient to fit and with a low profile. The disclosed guide track arrangement provides an elongate mounting member for securing to a support that forms part of the opening, and which provides at least one elongate connection recess; and an elongate track member, formed separately from and attachable to the mounting member, and having a track region with an elongate guide recess for slidingly retaining an edge of a flexible screen. The track member has at least one engagement part engageable into the complementary connection recess by lateral movement of the track member to connect the track member to the mounting member.

Closing Device for Sliding Screen Door

A closing device including a tubular cover; a rotating member disposed at least partially inside the cover; a torsion member connected between the cover and the rotating member; and a pulling member at least partially into the cover; the pulling connected to the rotating member; whereby extension of the pulling member away from the cover adjusts a torque in the torsion member to affect a closing. A method of closing a sliding screen door includes attaching the cover to a stationary member and attaching the pulling member to a sliding screen door. The door may be slid to an open position; whereby a torque in the torsion member is increased. The door may then be released; whereby the door is moved from the open position to a closed position by a linear force created in the pulling member through rotation of the rotating member by release of the torque.
