WINDOW ASSEMBLY SECUREMENT
A window assembly includes an inside frame, and outside frame, a glazing panel and a set of connectors that serve to seat, or positively locate, the glazing panel relative to one of the frames, and also positively to locate the inside and outside frames relative to each other. The members of the frames and the connectors may all be extrusions. The connector may have non-releasing, one-way engagement fittings that snap fit together with mating fittings on the frames. The frames may be made of a metal such as aluminum. The connectors may be made of a thermal insulator, such as a plastic of other composite material, that may tend not to form a thermal bridge between the inner and outer frames.
FILLER FRAMES FOR BUILDINGS WITH RIDGED PANELS
Cover panels for mounting on exterior or interior surfaces of metal building siding panels, and also configurable for mounting around cut-out openings in siding panels. Cover panels include one or more connected frame panels having a substantially flat exterior portion, and an interior portion having a bottom surface that is shaped to nest on and mate with a correspondingly shaped portion of a repeating ridge pattern of the respective building side panel(s) on which each of the one or more frame panels is configured to be mounted upon, thus leaving no gaps between the cover panel and the building siding panel(s).
BAGGAGE DOOR
A door installation clip includes a mounting portion and an engagement portion. The mounting portion is configured for attachment to an exposed edge of an opening in a panel, for example, a sidewall of a vehicle. The engagement portion includes engagement members extending toward the interior of the opening. A frame having an engagement feature may be assembled to the clips and panel by inserting a portion of the frame into the opening such that the engagement feature of the frame engages with an engagement member of the clip.
Device and method for securing frames
A device for securing frames, including a retaining plate and two clamping angles, the clamping angles being retained on the retaining plate so they can shift in relation thereto. To ensure simple handling, the angles are arranged on the retaining plate rotationally fixed and each includes at least one clamping element and at least one connecting piece. Methods are included for securing a frame to a wall, whereby one angle is connected to a retaining plate that is secured to an inner side of the frame. To secure the frame simply, it is inserted into a wall opening and a second angle is connected to the plate in a rotationally fixed manner across from the first angle, after which the first and second angles are connected using at least one adjusting means and a span width is reduced until a sufficient clamping force on the wall is reached.
Access panel with mounting tabs
An assembly for covering an opening in a structural member, the assembly having a frame with at least two orifices formed in the frame, a cover structured for attachment to the frame, and at least two mounting members capable of being attached to the frame, each mounting member having a first end structured to be received in a respective orifice in the frame, each mounting member formed of a bendable material that enables a second end of the mounting member to bend at least 90 degrees to a bent shape and to retain the bent shape to enable attachment of the assembly to the structural member without the use of typical fasteners.
