Self-aligning jamb jack screw
A self-aligning jamb jack apparatus with a cylindrical threaded adjustment component that has adjustment component threads on the exterior wall and smooth surface on the interior walls, the cylindrical threaded adjustment component extending through a cylinder with a smooth exterior to a ball, the smooth surface extending through the cylinder and the ball. The jamb jack apparatus also has a platform base with a socket configured to encompass the ball such that the platform base pivots around the ball. The self-aligning jamb jack apparatus is installed in a door or window jamb (or any other appliance) to connect and regulate the space between the jamb and the rough framing.
FENESTRATION UNIT WITH INTERIOR INSTALLATION FEATURES AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Installation systems and methods for fenestration units configured to be set into a rough opening (RO) from interior side of a building structure or wall. The fenestration units may include a retention system coupled to the frame and operable to exert a retention force on the fenestration unit to maintain positive engagement of the fenestration unit with the rough opening framing and resist extraction of the fenestration unit from the rough opening upon insertion of the fenestration unit in the rough opening from the interior side of the rough opening.
Adjustable Door Frame
A door frame assembly includes integral shim screws in the vertical jambs that facilitate installation of the assembly into a rough opening or doorway. The vertical frame jambs have one or more holes therethrough. Shim screws are positioned in those apertures and are adjustably extendable outwardly therefrom to engage a rough opening to assist in fixing the frame in that opening.

SILL LEVELING DEVICE
A thermally broken sill leveling device securing a door or window frame member to a substructure, including: an adjuster plate having a female threaded through hole therein and configured to be secured to the frame member; an adjustment screw for threadedly engaging the female threaded hole of the adjuster plate, the adjustment screw having a through hole therein; and a locking screw for securing the adjuster plate to the substructure, the locking screw passing through the through hole of the adjustment screw and being screwed to the substructure, wherein a spacing between the frame member and the substructure is adjusted by rotatably adjusting the adjustment screw so that a distal end thereof abuts against the substructure. This adjusts the space between the frame member and the substructure.
Self-Aligning Jamb Jack Screw with Partial Sphere
A self-aligning jamb jack apparatus with a cylindrical threaded adjustment component that has adjustment component threads on the exterior wall and smooth surface on the interior walls, the cylindrical threaded adjustment component extending through a cylinder with a smooth exterior to a ball (or cut-off sphere), the smooth surface extending through the cylinder and the ball (or cut-off sphere). The jamb jack apparatus also has a platform base with a socket configured to encompass the ball (or cut-off sphere) such that the platform base pivots around the ball (or cut-off sphere). The self-aligning jamb jack apparatus is installed in a door or window jamb (or any other appliance) to connect and regulate the space between the jamb and the rough framing.

FRAME STRIP INSTALLATION STRUCTURE
A frame strip installation structure is provided, which includes a frame strip, an installation seat, and a connector. The frame strip has a cavity with an opening at a side, the installation seat is configured to be adhesively installed on a wall. The connector is respectively connected to the installation seat and the frame strip. The opening of the cavity faces the wall, both the installation seat and the connector are accommodated in the cavity. The connector has an adjustable state and a locking state. When the connector is in the adjustable state, the frame strip moves relative to the installation seat so as to adjust an installation position relative to the wall. When the connector is in the locking state, the frame strip is fixed relative to the installation seat. When the frame strip is installed against the wall, there is no need to drill holes in the wall.
Threaded, booming, cylindrical shims
A shim for appliances such as windows and doors is described herein. The shim includes a stack of two or more cylinders threaded together such that twisting one or more of the cylinders causes the shim to extend. A collar cylinder may be placed through a jamb of the door or window, where an inner wall of the collar has threads. An inner cylinder is placed inside the collar, where the inner cylinder has male threads, and the inner cylinder is configured to extend when the inner cylinder is rotated relative to the collar. In some cases, a ball is mechanically connected to the inner cylinder at one end and is configured to extend away from the jamb when the inner cylinder is rotated relative to the collar. Some cases include a shim base with a ball socket configured to receive the ball.
Pocket door frame assembly
An improved pocket door frame for a sliding door. The frame employs a header support having an overhead track attached by T-nuts. A pair of vertical spreaders form a pocket recess entrance. A vertical stud member is attached to an end of the header support with a plurality of horizontal slats coupling the vertical spreaders to the vertical stud member. The horizontal slats are attached with even spacing and square alignment with plywood panels extending from a base to the header support and fastened to the horizontal slats and vertical stud member. A header spacer is positioned perpendicular to a lower surface of the header support and extends outwardly from the pocket recess. A header frame member is positioned perpendicular to each header spacer and extends outwardly from the pocket recess. The pocket door frame is constructed and arranged to provide dimensional stability and prevent warping or twisting.
