A dual function door acts as both a pocket door and a hinged swinging door. A first door panel is hingedly attached to a wall for swinging. A first header rail is attached to the top of the first door panel while a second header rail is attached to an appropriate surface at the same height as the first header rail. A second door panel has rollers that slide within the first header rail. The first door panel is positionable so that the first header rail and the second header rail align allowing the second door panel to also slide within the second header rail. The two header rails can be locked in the aligned position.

AWNING WINDOW ASSEMBLY HAVING A DOUBLE HUNG APPEARANCE

A window assembly having a first sash and a second sash mounted to a window frame, the first and second sashes arranged along different vertical planes within the window frame to resemble the appearance of a double hung window. The window assembly further includes a hinge mechanism coupled to the window frame, the hinge mechanism operable to guide the first and second sashes away from the window frame to accommodate an outwardly swinging motion of the sashes in a similar fashion as a conventional awning window.

Door assembly for a bathing enclosure

There is described a door assembly for a bathing enclosure, comprising: a frame; a rotatable panel rotatably securable to a wall; and a slidable panel slidably secured to the frame, wherein a sliding motion of the slidable panel triggers a rotation of the rotatable panel, wherein the door assembly is movable between an open position and a closed position, wherein when the door assembly is in the closed position, the rotatable and slidable panels are adjacent to one another and are unparallel and wherein when the door assembly is in the open position, the rotatable and slidable panels overlap one another and are parallel together.

Animal enclosure with dual door assembly

An animal enclosure including a plurality of members defining an interior of the enclosure. One of the plurality of members includes a first member having a frame structure and door assembly formed by a plurality of interconnected horizontal and vertical wires. At least two of the horizontal wires of the frame structure form a hook positioned inside the defined opening. The door assembly is coupled to the frame and moves between an open and closed positions. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door removably coupled to one another. The enclosure also includes a latch assembly for releasing the door assembly from the frame structure. In the closed position, at least one horizontal wire of the first door and at least one horizontal wire of the second door are coupled to the hooks formed by the at least two horizontal wires of the frame structure.
