The at least one drying device is designed to make it possible to replace the desiccant.
INSULATING GLASS ELEMENT FOR A REFRIGERATION CABINET
An insulating glass element suitable for a refrigeration cabinet. The insulating glass element includes a first pane and a second pane spaced at a distance from the first pane. The first pane has two opposite parallel horizontal edges and two opposite parallel vertical edges. The second pane has two opposite parallel horizontal edges and two opposite parallel vertical edges. According to one aspect, two horizontal spacers are arranged between the first pane and the second pane. According to another aspect, two vertically arranged flat profiles are secured to the vertical edges of the first pane and to the vertical edges of the second pane. According to yet another aspect, the spacers and the flat profiles enclose an inner interpane space between the first pane and the second pane, and one of the two flat profiles is transparent.
Spacer profile and insulating glass unit comprising such a spacer
A spacer profile adapted to be used in a spacer frame of an insulating glass unit includes a hollow profile body made of a first synthetic material and a chamber for accommodating hydroscopic material, the hollow profile body having an inner wall that is, in an assembled state of the insulating glass unit, directed to the intervening space between panes of the insulating glass unit, an outer wall on the opposite side of the inner wall, a first side wall and a second side wall on the opposite side to the first side wall, the walls being connected to form the chamber, and a diffusion barrier portion made of a second synthetic material with sheet silicates and being formed as at least a part of the outer wall.
Pressure compensated glass unit
A glass unit including a spacer, a front glass pane attached to a front side of the spacer, a back glass pane attached to a back side of the spacer, and a pressure equalization conduit defined by and within the spacer, wherein the pressure equalization conduit has a first end and a second end, wherein the pressure equalization conduit contains a desiccant and is in fluid communication with an exterior of the glass unit at a first end port adjacent to the first end and with an interior space of the glass unit at a second end port adjacent to the second end. The glass unit may further include one or more intermediate layers contained within the interior space and one or more floating suspension systems for supporting the intermediate layers.
Load bearing spacer for skylight installations
A spacer member, for allowing a walkable skylight with an insulating glass unit to be created with a structural glass panel and a thermal glass panel. The spacer member includes a slab part and a tube part having substantially the same thickness. The tube part is hollow, containing desiccant material for absorbing moisture within the insulating glass unit. The spacer members may be joined together to create a spacer frame. The spacer frame defines an inner rectangular region. When the spacer frame is sealed between the structural glass panels and the thermal glass panel, an air gap is created within the inner rectangular region. The desiccant material effectively removes moisture from air within the air gap.
Spacer for Insulating Glass Panes
A spacer for insulating glass panes has a profile body configured as a closed hollow profile substantially closed in cross section, the profile body having first and second side walls in parallel spaced apart from each other, an inner wall extending between the first and second side walls, and an outer wall extending from the first to the second side wall spaced apart from the inner wall. The outer wall comprises a first wall section aligned substantially parallel to the inner wall, second and third wall sections arranged on both sides of the first wall section, the latter, in cross section to the axial direction of the body, aligned at an obtuse angle to the first wall section and to the respective adjacent side wall, and connect thereon. The spacer includes an integral, reinforcing element, extending from the first side wall over the outer wall to the second side wall.
Door for a freezer or refrigerator cabinet
The disclosure relates to a door for a freezer or refrigerator cabinet, including an insulating glass unit with at least two panes, which are joined by means of spacers for the creation of a gas-filled intervening space. The panes each have a transparent region and all spacers are designed to be free of desiccant, and a desiccant reservoir, which is in fluidic connection with the intervening space between the at least two panes.
CORNER CONNECTOR WITH CAPILLARIES
A corner connector for connecting two hollow-profile strips of an insulating glazing unit is presented. The corner connector includes a first plug-in leg, a second plug-in leg, a corner region, and a capillary tube with a first opening and a second opening. According to one aspect, the corner region connects the second plug-in leg to the first plug-in leg so to form angle between 45 and 180 between the two plug-in legs. According to another aspect, the first plug-in leg, the second plug-in leg, and the corner region are injection molded, and the capillary tube is integrally molded into the corner region. When installed, the capillary tube establishes a connection between the inner interpane space and corresponding surroundings of the insulating glazing unit.
Spacer for insulated glass units
A spacer is provided that is shapable into a spacer frame, and during manufacture of an insulating glass unit, can be mounted on the glass panes. The spacer is formed having an inner surface, an outer surface and two lateral surfaces extending at either side of the spacer from the inner surface to the outer surface, and comprises a profiled body. The profiled body comprises two mutually spaced lateral faces running parallel to its longitudinal direction and a base body that extends between the lateral faces and has an outer and an inner face. The profiled body comprises at least in one part of its volume a quantity of particulate desiccant that is embedded in a plastics material. The spacer is coilable about an axis, perpendicularly to the lateral surfaces, and takes a flexurally rigid form in a plane perpendicular to the lateral surfaces.
