Threshold seal apparatus, a kit of parts and a method
A threshold seal apparatus for a doorway, the threshold seal apparatus comprising a floor-mountable channel portion, a seal configured to be received within the channel portion, and an actuation mechanism operable to move the seal with respect to the channel portion between a retracted position and an extended position in which the seal is configured to contact the underside of a door mounted within the doorway.
E-AUTO DOOR BOTTOM
A door sealing mechanism includes a solenoid for operating a cam mechanism to extend or retract a spring mechanism, causing a seal to engage/disengage with a floor/threshold, for allowing ease of opening/closing of the door while still providing sealing when the door is closed.
Top-hanging sliding door including bottom guide and seal
Systems and methods for providing a drop seal assembly which is concealed within an opening in the bottom of a sliding door panel of a top-hanging sliding door. The drop seal assembly may include bottom guide which defines a downward facing elongated slot or track which receives a sill guide therein. The drop seal assembly also includes a drop down acoustic seal which automatically drops down to contact the floor surface below the door panel when the door panel is moved from an open position into a closed position. The distance that the seal drops down upon closing of the door panel may be selectively adjustable to accommodate variances in the air gap between the door bottom and the floor surface due to particular installation conditions. A concealed magnetic bottom seal activator may be used to provide self-adjusting activation of the door bottom seal assembly using two opposing magnets.

Top-hanging sliding door including wedge design top seal
Systems and methods for providing a door seal system for top-hanging sliding doors. In some implementations, two angled mating surfaces are used, one angled surface on a fixed frame and one reversed angled surface on the slideable door panel. The slideable door panel slides directly parallel to the fixed door frame. A mating seal surface is created that is only in frictional contact for a small portion of the linear slide distance of the door panel. In some implementations, rather than placing two opposing angled seal surfaces, the sealing system has one angled surface on the fixed door frame. In such implementations, the sliding door panel is adjusted to be in a reverse angled orientation relative to the angled surface of the fixed door frame. Seal designs for the rear vertical edge of the slideable door panel are also provided herein.

Automatic Door Bottom With Intumescent Extended Drop
An automatic door bottom to seal a gap between a door bottom and a door sill and includes a drop bar assembly with a seal element is held in a channel mounted on a door. The automatic door bottom also includes a spring-loaded, slidable pushrod assembly which, upon closure of the door, forces the seal element out of the channel and into contact with the door sill. Upon door opening, the slidable pushrod assembly is released and retracts the seal element back into the channel. Further included within the channel is an intumescent material also communicating with the drop bar assembly, where, when exposed to heat or high temperature, forcefully expands within the channel to force the seal element out of the channel and into sealable contact with the door sill, thereby preventing fire expansion through a gap around the door.

Sealing device
A sealing device of a sliding door having a slidably mounted door leaf has a drop-down seal having a sealing strip and a lowering mechanism for automatically lowering and raising the sealing strip. The lowering occurs against a restoring force. The sealing device also has an activation unit for activating the drop-down seal. The activation unit has a contact surface, which is directed upward in the lowering direction, and a contact element, which lies against said contact surface during the closing of the door leaf and thereby actuates the drop-down seal. In this way, the weight of the door leaf can be used for the lowering of the sealing strip. Furthermore, a position in which the restoring force does not influence a sliding motion of the door leaf in the longitudinal direction of the sealing strip can be achieved.
