RF Attenuation Retro Fit Kit
A kit for radio frequency shielding a door frame, such as a radio frequency attenuation kit, comprises: an astragal retainer fixed to a door, where the astragal retainer is configured to couple a first radio frequency shielding gasket such that the first gasket overlaps a seam between the door and the door frame; and a second radio frequency shielding gasket which contacts the door when in a closed position, where the second gasket is fixed between a Z bracket and radio frequency tape; wherein the radio frequency tape is applied to the door frame.
Building aperture cover with VIG unit connected to fixation profile
The present disclosure relates to an aperture covering, such as a building aperture covering. The aperture covering comprises a VIG unit 3 and a frame. The frame (2) comprises elongated fixation profiles (6) each of which are fixed to and arranged parallel to an elongated structural frame member (8). The fixation profile (6) comprises a fixation wall (6a) which extends opposite to an exterior major surface (S1) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) and is fixed to the exterior major surface (S1) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) by means of a bonding seal (9). The fixation profile (6) comprises a connection member (6b) extending from the fixation wall (6a), wherein the connection member (6b) is fixed to the elongated, structural frame member (8). The elongated structural member (8) faces the opposite interior major surface (S2) of the vacuum insulated glass unit (3) placed opposite to the exterior major surface (S1) of the vacuum insulated glass unit.
Method and system for sealing around door
Certain example embodiments relate to a sealing system for sealing the periphery of a door relative to a frame. The sealing system includes a multi point finger seal having at least three fingers of differing height and spacing so that a first finger may contact the door and contact of the first finger and second finger is precluded. A second finger is sized and spaced from a third finger so that a free edge of the second finger abuts the base of the third finger. A security seal is located at the bottom of the door and includes a security flap biased into the door, wherein a cam on the frame engages the flap upon closure of the door to urge the security flap toward the floor. The seal includes one or more perforations therein, causing the seal to breakaway and into pieces if removal is attempted.
SEAL WITH RAT RESISTANT BARRIER
A flexible and oblong blade seal for sealing a gap between a door leaf and an adjacent surface includes a flexible outer material and B) a section with the sealing function (the sealing section), in which a barrier of a plurality of substantially parallel metal wires and/or narrow metal strips is embedded in the flexible outer material in such a way, that the wires and/or strips are arranged in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the seal. A method for mounting such seals and a method for producing them.
ENERGY EFFICIENT FENESTRATION ASSEMBLIES
A fenestration assembly is provided. The assembly includes a stationary member, a moveable member coupled to the stationary member, a primary biasing member disposed between the stationary member and the moveable member to provide tension to a film coupled to the moveable member, and a reinforcement member coupled to the stationary member and configured to reinforce the assembly upon tension being provided to the film.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RECTIFYING EXCESSIVE CLEARANCES OF DOOR ASSEMBLIES
Systems and methods for rectifying excessive bottom or head clearances of door assemblies are disclosed. An example system may comprise a door cap straight component installed on a first side of a fire door; a door cap L-shaped component installed on a second opposite side of the fire door; at least one intumescent strip seal fitted with the door cap L-shaped component; and end caps installed on two narrow ends of the fire door.
GARAGE DOOR SYSTEM
A garage door roller assembly includes at least one track and a first panel and a second panel that are movable along the at least one track. The first panel and the second panel are connected by a hinge. The first panel and the second panel each have a first end portion including a planar surface, a recess defined in the planar surface, and a rail extending from a trough of the recess, the rail having a height that is less than a depth of the recess. A channel member is secured to the rail of the first panel. The channel member extends beyond the planar surface of the first panel and is configured to receive the rail of the second panel.
CORNER PADS
A corner pad includes a backer having a first side and a second side. The first side is configured to receive an adhesive. The corner pad also includes a plurality of wands extending from the second side. Each of the plurality of wands includes a first end and a second end and each of the plurality of wands is integral with the backer at the second end forming an interface. Each interface is substantially parallel to one another.
Low compression-force TPE weatherseals
A weatherseal has a stiffener and a foam profile. A first portion of the foam profile is connected to the stiffener. A second portion of the foam profile is joined to the first portion at a hinge. The first and second foam profile portions have inner surfaces facing substantially towards each other and outer surfaces facing substantially away from each other. The foam profile defines at least one continuous elongate lumen. A portion of the foam profile has a resin coating.
Method of Manufacturing A Window Seal Assembly With A Molded Bracket
A method of manufacturing a seal assembly for attachment to a vehicle having a securing point spaced from a vehicle point at a distance with an apparatus having first and second receptacles defining a cavity, and a bracket apparatus defining a bracket cavity, including: forming a first strip having a first body with first ends; forming a second strip having a second body with second ends; positioning one first end into the first receptacle with the first body adjacent to the bracket cavity; positioning one second end into the second receptacle; forming a molding bonding the strips together to define a mold point; forming a bracket with a receiver at a receiver point, and an interface bonded to the first body spaced such that a distance between the receiver point of the bonded bracket and the mold point is equal to the distance between the securing and vehicle points.
