Knock-Down Weather Seal Assembly for an Overhead Door and Method of Use and Distribution

A knock-down seal assembly for an overhead-sectional door having horizontal joints between adjacent panels and a leading lateral edge that seals the lateral leading edge of the door as the door panel closes against the floor or traffic area. The seal assembly includes a pair of retainer rails which do not exceed about 5 to 6 feet in overall length. The retainer rails have one or more seal channels formed in a bottom surface of the rail for receiving a flexible weather seal strip. The rails also have a separate extension channel formed in the bottom surface thereof for receiving an elongate retainer clip. The retainer clip can be used to join the pair of rails to form a single rail of a longer overall length.

Sealing system for a conditioned door threshold

Embodiments of the invention provide a sealing system configured to provide a sealed boundary between a conditioned and an uncontrolled or separately conditioned environment. In some examples, the sealing system may comprise a door, a conditioning device, and a seal assembly. The door may be moveable between an opened position and a closed position. The seal assembly may be coupled to the door and have an airflow path. When the door is in the closed position, the conditioning device may be configured to direct conditioned air into the airflow path, thereby urging conditioned air through the seal to inhibit undesirable door and/or adjacent surface conditions.

Reversible door frame threshold, and door system including same

A door system may include a threshold assembly having a base including a base drain channel having a major drain surface inclined from a second edge to a first edge thereof, a base drain hole defined in a second base sidewall to convey water from said base drain channel out through the second base sidewall to an exterior side, on a first base sidewall a first base seat configured for mating seated engagement with a first crown seat in a first seat connection, on the second base sidewall a second base seat configured for mating seated engagement with a second crown seat in a second seat connection, a crown supported by the base, the crown including a crown minor side above the first crown seat and a crown major side above the second crown seat, a crown gutter intermediate the crown minor side and crown major side, a gutter drain hole defined in the crown gutter to convey water into the base drain channel, the crown selectively installable on the base in a first position for in-swing movement of a door element or a second position for out-swing movement of a door element, the crown position selectable independent of the base positioned to convey water from the base drain channel to the exterior side.

A sliding door system (105) includes a track assembly (120) and a door (125) slidably connected to the track. Seals (245, 250, 605, 610, 300, 500) disposed about the door limit sound and/or infectious materials from passing thereby. One or more of the seals (245, 250) are disposed between the door and the track assembly. One or more other seals (605, 610) are disposed between the door and a wall to seal around the trailing end of the door. The system may also include a door dock (130) with one or more seals (300, 500) to seal around the leading end of the door. The system can also include a drop seal assembly (700) that selectively seals off a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor.

The threshold system includes a first support member secured to a walking surface, a second support member secured to the walking surface, and a thermal break joining the first support member and the second support member. A first ramp is removably coupled to the first support member. A second ramp is removably coupled to the second support member.

THRESHOLD AND THRESHOLD CAP

A threshold has a substrate, a sill deck, an upstanding nosing, and an upstanding dam. An upwardly open sill channel is defined between the upstanding nosing and the upstanding dam. A threshold cap extends along and at least partially overlies the upwardly open sill channel. At least one holder is formed separate from the threshold cap and is located in the upwardly open sill channel between the upstanding dam and the upstanding nosing, the at least one holder at least partially supporting the threshold cap. The holder is removably disposed within the sill channel. The threshold cap is pivotably attached to the holder. The threshold cap is capable of rotating between a raised position and a lowered position. In at least the raised position, a highest point of the threshold cap is closer to the upstanding dam than the upstanding nosing.

Adjustable door sweep

The present invention is an adjustable door sweep that would be available as either an accessory attached to the bottom exterior of a door or as an integrated component installed inside a newly manufactured door. Both embodiments would feature sweep bristles stored vertically in the housing, running the width of the door, and protruding from a half-inch aperture on the bottom of the door itself or attached accessory. When deployed from the bottom of the door or accessory, the individual bristles would conform perfectly to the exact contour of the threshold surface, regardless if it is natural or man-made, then be locked in place by the present invention.
