The component may comprise a base providing a compartment with an opening, a door moveable between open and closed positions and an interface between the base and the door to facilitate movement of the door. The interface may comprise a set of projections on the door to engage a set of guides on the base. The set of projections may comprise a set of extrusions. The door may comprise a substrate and a cover layer; the substrate may be formed by extrusion. The component may comprise at least one of a vehicle trim component, a console, a center console, a floor console, a storage compartment, an arm rest. A method of making a component is also disclosed. The component may comprise a base and a door comprising a cover and a carrier. The carrier may be formed by extruding a polymer material.

Disclosed herein is a media wall including a frame structure including a mounting cell, an electronic appliance disposed in the mounting cell, a drive roller arranged above the mounting cell, a screen wound around the drive roller by half a turn, the screen including a first region and a second region positioned, a motor configured to provide rotational force to the drive roller to vary an area of the first region, and a protruding frame introduced into and drawn out of the mounting cell, wherein, when the screen is in a first state, the first region is widened to cover the electronic appliance, and the protruding frame protrudes forward and contacts the first region of the screen, wherein, when the screen is in a second state, the first region is narrowed to expose the electronic appliance, and the protruding frame retreats rearward and is spaced apart from the screen.

A balance system used with a door of a cupboard comprises a transmission shaft, a first pulley on the transmission shaft, and a balance component. The first pulley is connected to a door belt, one end of the door belt is secured to the first pulley, and the other end of the belt is connected to the door. The balance component comprises a balancing member, a balancing belt and a second pulley on the transmission shaft. One end of the balancing belt is connected to the second pulley, and the other end of the balancing belt is connected to the balancing member, such that the balancing member is hung on the second pulley. The first pulley and the second pulley rotate synchronously, and the door belt and the balancing belt are wound oppositely. With the balance system, a small driving force can open/close the door.

A flex screen having: a width; a length; a thickness; a plurality of openings having a length and width, with a first opening laterally adjacent a second opening and longitudinally adjacent a third opening; a plurality of stringers, including a first stringer laterally positioned between the first and second openings; and a bridge between the first and third openings. The first opening is laterally bounded between the first and second stringers and longitudinally bounded by the bridge, which serves to span and connect the first and second stringers. The first opening is longitudinally staggered from the second opening and the bridge is connected to the first stringer at a location longitudinally partway along the second opening. The flex screen may be elastically flexed to a flexed orientation, including torsional displacement of the first and second stringers. The lateral width of the first opening is greater than the thickness of one of the first and second stringers.
