Slatted Door with Increased Impact Resistance
A shutter roller door with a shutter roller drivable by a drive mechanism; a flexible door windable on the roller and movable between retracted and extended positions by the drive mechanism, the door having integrally formed interconnected slats, each having upper and lower edges, and arranged perpendicular to a direction of door travel; a guide rail assembly positioned at each side; and end members attachable to an end of a corresponding slat. Each slat has an upper hook portion and an upper curved channel, the upper hook portion configured to engage with a lower curved channel of the lower edge of an upper adjacent slat, and the lower edge having a lower hook portion and a lower curved channel configured to engage with the upper curved channel of the upper edge of a lower adjacent slat.
LINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SLATS FOR ROLLER SHUTTERS
The present invention relates to a production line of slats for roller shutters, comprising: a profiling machine; and a foaming machine, integrated in the profiling machine and suitable for dosing a predefined amount of a mixture of polyol and isocyanate in the unit of time inside a hollow, box section profile, partially open while it is being formed by means of an injection nozzle positionable in a predefined dispensing position along said longitudinal direction of advancement. The line comprises an optical acquisition device suitable for capturing images of the jet of the polyol and isocyanate mixture dispensed from said injection nozzle. The line comprises a control system that verifies whether the captured images of the jet are comparable within predefined error margins with said reference image or whether they deviate from it and activates an alarm procedure if a deviation from said reference image is detected.

Fire rated door
A closure may include a door configured to seal an opening. The door may include a section with an internal cavity. The closure may also include a core within a first portion of the internal cavity of the section. The core may be configured to expand from a relaxed state to an expanded state and provide a seal between the door and an edge of the opening when the core is in the expanded state.
Ventilation system for a large industrial space
Method and apparatus for ventilating an interior space, such as a large industrial structure with at least one bay opening. A ventilation system includes an array of M by N fans stacked into a two dimensional (2D) array. A rigid frame supports the array. A seal assembly provides a nominally fluid-tight seal between an outer perimeter of the array and the bay opening. A locking assembly mechanically couples the frame to the bay opening. In some cases, a bay door can be partially retracted and attached to a top of the frame. In other cases, the bay door may be fluidically permeable (e.g., a chain, a screen, etc.) and the array is secured behind a fully closed door. Cooling air is directed out the bay opening at a suitable time, such as overnight. A soft-start motor capability can be used to initiate operation of the array.
FIRE-PROTECTION ROLLING DOOR
In order to develop a fire-protection rolling door of the type in question such that the fire resistance duration and thermal insulation are improved and increased and in particular heat transfer points extending through the door are avoided, a fire-protection rolling door is proposed which is composed of: —a rolling-door armor of profiled plates which interconnected in an articulated manner; —a sheet-shaped intermediate layer of fire-retardant and thermally insulating material; and—overlapping cover plates, which fire-protection rolling door is held, in the open state, above an opening to be closed in the event of a fire, such that the fire-protection rolling door can be guided in guide rails disposed on both sides, the sheet-shaped intermediate layer having planar carrier segments, which are covered with at least one layer of fire-retardant and thermally insulating material on both sides.
Rolling shutter slat
A slat for a rolling shutter is provided that is formed as a single walled, continuous bent sheet. The slat includes a body having a hook-shaped engaging track at a first end, and a receiving track at the second end comprising a guard member and a hook-shaped lip member that form a pocket for receiving the engaging track of another slat. The guard member includes a portion of the sheet that is bent over on itself. The lip member extends from the guard member, and is spaced apart from the guard member to define an aperture that is sized and shaped to receive the engaging track of the other slat.

SLAT FOR ROLLER SHUTTERS, SHUTTER COMPRISING SUCH A SLAT AND PLANT FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A SHUTTER
A slat for roller shutters includes an internally hollow elongated body extending along a longitudinal direction with a first face and opposite second face, designed to turn respectively towards the outside and inside of the compartment closed by the shutter. A cavity along a first longitudinal edge of the body is delimited by a first appendage on the first face, and a second appendage on the second face. A coupling appendage extends from a second longitudinal edge. Two recesses are at ends of the second longitudinal edge. Two notches on the second appendage near the opposite ends extend transverse to the first longitudinal edge, and define, on the second appendage, first and second tabs at opposite ends of the body. Each tab bends against the first appendage to close the coupling cavity at the ends of the body. The first appendage extends continuously from one end of the body.
ROLLER DOOR ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS FOR ATTACHING ROLLER DOOR ASSEMBLIES TO VEHICLES
Various disclosed embodiments include illustrative door assemblies, vehicles, and methods of assembling door assemblies. In an illustrative embodiment, a door assembly has a right horizontal track, a left horizontal track, a counterbalance assembly having a right end and a left end, a right connector plate, and a left connector plate. The right connector plate is configured to be connected to the right horizontal track and to the right end of the counterbalance assembly. The left connector plate is configured to be connected to the left horizontal track and to the left end of the counterbalance assembly.
