ILLUMINATED ROLLER SHADE AND DRAPERY MOUNTING SYSTEM
A window shade system is presented that combines the benefits of roller shades with draperies. In one arrangement a fascia having a front plate and a bottom plate includes a track positioned in the forward lower end of the fascia. The fascia is configured to be attached to a plurality of brackets. One or more roller shades having roller shade material attached to a tube are connected to the brackets. A plurality of carriers are positioned in the track and one or more draperies are attached to the plurality of carriers in the track. This arrangement presents a dual functioning window shade wherein roller shade material may be opened and closed by raising and lowering the roller shade material by rotating the tube of the roller shades raised, and the drapery shade material may be opened and closed by sliding the drapery shade material along the length of the track.
RETRACTABLE PRIVACY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A retractable privacy system for roll-up walls and doors is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a retractable privacy system includes one or more drums rotated by one or more motors to draw in or let out one or more flexible sheets from the drum. Multiple motors and drums may work in synchronization to achieve a desired result. In certain embodiments, various inputs are used to automatically open or close roll-up walls and doors. In other embodiments, the retractable privacy system interfaces with a thermostat or security system to achieve a desired result.
RETRACTABLE COVERING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A retractable privacy system for is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a retractable privacy system includes a drums rotated by one or more motors to draw-in or let-out a flexible sheet from a drum. Multiple motors may work in synchronization to achieve a desired result. In certain embodiments, various inputs are used to automatically open or close privacy sheets. In other embodiments, the retractable privacy system interfaces with a thermostat or security system to achieve a desired result.
Cordless shade lift system and headrail arrangement
A covering for an architectural opening including a first rail, a second rail moveable relative to the first rail, a third rail moveable relative to the first rail, and a lift assembly coupled to the first rail. The lift assembly includes a first drum rotatable about a first axis, a second drum rotatable about a second axis; a first lift cord coupled between the first drum and the second rail, and a second lift cord coupled between the second drum and the third rail. The first drum is offset from the second drum, and a portion of the first drum overlaps a portion of the second drum along a third axis that is perpendicular to the first axis and the second axis.
Roller Blind Clutch Cover With Adjustable Chain Guide
A clutch cover for a roller blind clutch. The clutch cover comprises a clutch barrel portion mounted upon and extending outwardly from a first side of a backing plate, a cover ring and one or more indexing locators to fix the position of the cover ring relative to the backing plate when the cover ring is releasably secured about the backing plate. The cover ring includes a chain guide and is releasably securable about the backing plate such that the cover ring encompasses the backing plate. The indexing locators prevent relative rotational movement between the cover ring and the backing plate when the cover ring is releasably secured about the backing plate. The indexing locators permit the chain guide to be positioned at a plurality of angles relative to the backing plate.
Architectural Covering with Woven Material
A covering for an architectural feature includes a woven material. The woven material is made at least partially from binder yarns to form a woven fabric. The binder yarns are heated after the fabric is woven to a temperature sufficient to cause the binder yarns to bond and fuse to adjacent yarns at crossover points. The woven material is inherently resistant to fraying and/or unraveling.
MULTIPLE INDEPENDENT SHADE ARRAY
A window covering for a window having a window frame. The window covering includes a headrail at the top of the window frame, and two window shades suspended from the headrail that can be selectively independently raised and lowered. Each of the window shades has a different light property. Accordingly the two window shades can be deployed selectively independently to achieve a desired property of light passing through the window shade.
SEAL FOR WINDOW COVERING
A seal apparatus for a window shade having a first side seal on one side of a window and a second side seal on an opposite side of the window. The side seals have a base anchored to a side of a window frame, and an extensible sealing portion coupled to the base and being extensible toward the window shade to enclose a volume between the window and the window shade.
SEAL FOR MULTIPLE INDEPENDENT SHADE ARRAY
A seal for a multiple-shade window covering array. The seal includes two or more coextensive shades for a window in a window frame. At least one of the shades is a cellular shade. Each shade operates independently without interference from other shades, and each shade has different light properties such that selectively raising and lowering one or more of the shades changes a light property for the window covering array. The seal also includes side seals anchored to the sides of the window frame.
TEMPERATURE SENSORS IN SHADE ARRAY
A temperature system for a window shade includes temperature sensors coupled to a side seal for the window shade. The side seal is selectively movable into and out of position relative to the window shade. The temperature sensors convey temperature information to a controller for operating the window shade and the side seal. The controller operates the window shade and the side seals based at least in part upon the temperature information.
