An actuating system for a window shade includes a first rotary axle rotatable for displacing a bottom part, a second rotary axle rotatable for displacing an intermediate rail, and a limiting mechanism including a first and a second sliding part respectively linked movably to the first and second rotary axle. The first sliding part slides in a first direction when the first rotary axle rotates for lowering the bottom part and in a second direction when the first rotary axle rotates for raising the bottom part. The second sliding part slides in the first direction when the second rotary axle rotates for lowering the intermediate rail and in the second direction when the second rotary axle rotates for raising the intermediate rail. The first sliding part is prevented from sliding in the second direction via a contact between the first sliding part and the second sliding part.

A modular shade includes at least one module that consists of a head rail unit, a foot rail unit, at least one intermediate rail unit, and a plurality of slat components. A top slat may be coupled to the head rail unit and the intermediate rail unit, and a bottom slat component may be coupled to the intermediate rail unit and the foot rail unit. Further, additional intermediate rail units and intermediate slat components may be added to the module to alter the shape and size of the module, and the module may be coupled to one or more additional modules to change the overall shape and size of the modular shade.

External motor drive system for window covering system with continuous cord loop

A motor driven system for raising and lowering a window covering executes motor ramp trajectory speed control. The motor ramp trajectory limits acceleration of an external motor from the idle (stationary) state to full operating speed, and limits deceleration of the motor from full operating speed back to the idle state. This function reduces stresses on a continuous cord loop drive mechanism. A control system manages solar heating effects in response to sunlight entrance conditions such as system sensor outputs, external weather forecasts, and other data sources. The system automatically opens or close the window covering to increase or decrease admitted sunlight under appropriate conditions. The input interface of the control system includes a visual display and input axis, which are aligned vertically if the window covering mechanism raises and lowers the window covering, and are aligned horizontally if the window covering mechanism laterally opens and closes the window covering.

Connector for a looped operating element of an architectural-structure covering

A connector for coupling to a bead chain is disclosed. In use, the connector is arranged and configured so that the connector can pass over a bearing. In one example of an embodiment, the bearing is positioned in a tensioner so that the connector moves through the tensioner, which is operatively coupled to the bead chain. In one example embodiment, application of a force on the bead chain to move the covering between an extended position and a retracted position, self-orients the connector so that a top portion of the connector faces and/or contacts the bearing so that the connector smoothly passes across an exterior arcuate surface of the bearing. In one example embodiment, the top portion includes a curved surface to contact the curved surface of the bearing.

SCROLLING UNIT FOR ELECTRIC WINDOW CURTAIN

A window curtain includes a top rail, a bottom rail and a curtain between the top and bottom rails. A transmission unit and a scrolling unit are received in the bottom rail. Transmission unit includes a control member, a motor, and a shaft connected to the motor. The scrolling unit includes a case in which a passive part, a first prat and a second part are accommodated. The shaft of the motor drives the scrolling unit. A first rope is connected to the first part. A second rope is connected to the second part. The first and second ropes pass through the curtain and are connected to the top rail via the first and second transition members. The transmission unit and the scrolling unit are received in the bottom rail to reduce the weight of the top rail, and are easily maintained.

BARRIER LAYER FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL-STRUCTURE COVERING

An architectural-structure covering and corresponding method of manufacturing, assembly, or the like is disclosed. The architectural-structure covering including a covering comprising a front layer, a rear layer, and an intermediate barrier layer, wherein the intermediate barrier layer is coupled to a rear side of the front layer and to a front side of the rear layer so that the intermediate barrier layer is positioned between the front and rear layers. The architectural-structure covering further comprising a plurality of lift elements arranged and configured to move the covering between extended and retracted positions. The lift elements being positioned being the intermediate and rear layers. In this manner, the lift elements may be sandwiched between the intermediate and rear layers thus rending the lift elements inaccessible, or at least greatly limiting accessibility, to an end user.

Curtain and drawstring adjustment device thereof
11091954 · 2021-08-17 · ·

An adjustment device for a drawstring of a curtain with a curtain body includes a base fixed to a bottom end of the curtain body and defining a shaft hole, a reel received and rotatably mounted in the shaft hole of the base, and a locking assembly for limiting an axial displacement of the reel. A sidewall bounding the shaft hole of the base defines a through slot. The base forms a number of first positioning portions distributed in a circle about a central axis of the shaft hole. An end of the drawstring passes through the through slot of the sidewall bounding the shaft hole and is wound on the reel. The reel forms a number of second positioning portions cooperating with the first positioning portions to prevent the reel from rotating.

Window covering

A window covering includes a headrail and a covering material positioned under the headrail. The covering material includes a slat assembly. The headrail includes a traverse board and a pressure-dispersion structure, wherein the pressure-dispersion structure is positioned at the traverse board, and protrudes from a bottom surface of the traverse board. On a side of the pressure-dispersion structure facing the slat assembly, a pressure-dispersion area is formed corresponding to a topmost slat of the slat assembly which is closest to the headrail. When the covering material is raised and eventually contacts the headrail, the topmost slat can be controlled to contact at least part of the pressure-dispersion area, whereby to disperse a pressure applied to the slats.

COVERING FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL STRUCTURE WITH INTERNAL RAIL STORAGE FOR ADJUSTING THE COVERING'S DROP LENGTH AND RELATED METHODS

In one aspect, a covering for an architectural structure includes first and second rails and a cellular blanket extending between the first and second rails. One of the first rail or the second rail defines an interior storage cavity for receiving a portion of the cellular blanket to allow a drop length of the covering to be adjusted.
