RESTRICTION MEMBER FOR PLEATED SHADE ASSEMBLIES
20170306694 · 2017-10-26 ·

A pleated shade assembly includes a shade having multiple pleated portions formed transversely formed on the front side thereof. Any two of the pleated portions adjacent to each other have an overlapped portion which is a combination of two respective longitudinal sides of the adjacent pleated portions. A restriction member is located at the rear side of the shade and connected between the top and the bottom of the shade. The restriction member restricts expansion of the pleated portions so as to prevent the pleated portions from being overly deformed.

Cordless window shade and spring drive system thereof
09797189 · 2017-10-24 · ·

A spring drive system for a cordless window shade includes multiple rotary drums respectively connected with suspension cords, and one or more springs respectively connected with the rotary drums. The rotary drums are operatively connected with each other, so that they can synchronously rotate to wind and unwind the suspension cords. Moreover, each of the rotary drums is connected with an end of one spring. The spring torque can act to sustain a bottom part of the window shade at any desired height, and drive rotation of the rotary drums to wind the suspension cords when the bottom rail is raised upward.

Rail retention system for a cordless window shade

A covering for an architectural opening includes a first rail, a second rail adjustably connected to the first rail, and a magnetic retention assembly configured to removably connect the first and second rails. The magnetic retention assembly includes a magnet coupled to one of the first rail or the second rail, and a receiver coupled to the other of the second rail or the first rail, the receiver configured to form a magnetic connection with the magnet.

SPRING BOX OF CORDLESS WINDOW COVERING AND FRICTION MECHANISM OF THE SAME
20170298688 · 2017-10-19 ·

A spring box provided in one headrail of a window covering is disclosed, including a base, a post rotatably provided on the base to wind up a lifting cord, and a prestressing device which provides a pulling force to the post to rotate it in a predetermined direction. The spring box further includes a guiding member provided in the post to be rotated by the post, a movable member which moves along the guiding member in a non-rotating manner when the guiding member is rotated, and a friction member which is compressed and deformed to increase a friction between it and an inner wall of the post when the movable member is moved in a predetermined direction, providing a resistance effect to the rotation of the post, which makes one bottom rail of the window covering stay at a predetermined position.

REELING DEVICE FOR WINDOW COVERING
20170298687 · 2017-10-19 ·

A reeling device for a window covering is disclosed, including a base having a perforation, an end cap, and a rotating member engaged to the base. The rotating member is rotatable around an axis, and has a body portion having a first end and a second end. An end of the lifting cord is engaged to the body portion near the first end, while another end passes through the perforation and winds around the second end. The end cap is engaged to the first end and is rotatable, which includes a tapered sleeve and a tubular body fitting around the body portion to cover a cord segment engaged to the body portion; the tapered sleeve is connected to the tubular body, and an outer diameter thereof decreases in a direction away from the first end. Such structure is helpful to control a lifting cord to smoothly operate a shade material.

RAIL FOR AN ARCHITECTURAL COVERING
20170241196 · 2017-08-24 ·

A rail for an architectural covering is provided. The rail may be associated with a shade material of a covering. An adjustment device may be positioned at least partially within the rail. A plurality of lift cords may be associated with the adjustment device. The adjustment device may adjust an effective length of each of the lift cords to adjust a position of the rail within an architectural opening.

Arched window covering capable of adjusting size
09739086 · 2017-08-22 · ·

An arched window covering having shade mount with a base, at least a spacer, and two rails wherein a shade is mounted on the shade mount and the width of the spacer is adjustable and positioned on the base such that the rails movably engage the base and a length of the shade mount is changeable by changing the width of the spacer to thereby adapt to a differing size of a shade mounted on the shade mount by adjusting the spacer rather than cutting the rail to fit the windows with different sizes.

Covering for an architectural opening
