Recreational Vehicle and Trailer Window Treatment Adjustment System
A window treatment adjustment assembly is provided that includes a slider having a base movable along a portion of the frame. A handle extends from the base. A pocket is formed in the screen and includes: a pocket frame attached to the screen to form an opening through the screen; a shroud member attached to at least a portion of the pocket frame. The handle of the slider extends through the opening of the pocket and past the shroud member. The base of the slider is in communication with a mechanism that moves the window treatment.
Multi-pane electrochromic windows
Window units, for example insulating glass units (IGU's), that have at least two panes, each pane having an electrochromic device thereon, are described. Two optical state devices on each pane of a dual-pane window unit provide window units having four optical states. Window units described allow the end user a greater choice of how much light is transmitted through the electrochromic window. Also, by using two or more window panes, each with its own electrochromic device, registered in a window unit, visual defects in any of the individual devices are negated by virtue of the extremely small likelihood that any of the visual defects will align perfectly and thus be observable to the user.
Retractable lighting fixture
Disclosed is a retractable lighting fixture having a retractable LED lighting layer. One or more optical layers (40, 240A/B, 340A/B, 440) may optionally be provided over the LED lighting layer (30, 230, 330, 430). The optical layer(s) and the LED lighting layer may optionally be movable relative to one another between at least being in an expanded spaced relation to one another and a compressed relation to one another. One or more LEDs (34, 134, 234A/B, 334A/B, 434) on the LED lighting layer may be individually controllable and such LEDs (34, 134, 234A/B, 334A/B, 434) may be selectively extinguished when they are in a retracted position.
Elastic shading textile comprising photovoltaic elements, and corresponding multiple glazing
A shading textile is characterized in that it comprises a plurality of strip-shaped photovoltaic lamellas which, aligned next to one another or spaced apart from one another in their longitudinal direction, form a continuous product by means of a yarn system, wherein the yarn system is designed to be elastic in at least one direction, so that by tensioning the shading textile, a spacing between adjacent photovoltaic elements can be varied perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
INSULATED GLAZING UNITS WITH MEMORY MODULES
The present invention relates to an insulated glazing unit (1) adapted to be inserted in a door or window comprising a frame (2); at least two partially or totally transparent panes (4) associated with said frame (2) to define a gap (5); screening means (6) inserted in said gap (5) and adapted to be alternated at least between a retracted configuration in which they allow the passage of light through said gap (5) and a deployed configuration in which they at least partially block the passage of light in said gap (5); actuator means (8) comprising an electric motor (8a) operably associated with said screening means (6) to alternate them at least between the retracted configuration and the deployed configuration; power supply means (13) operably connected to said actuator means (8) and comprising a stationary portion (14) and a moving portion (15) adapted to be electrically connected/disconnected to/from said stationary portion (14), a control unit (9) in signal communication with said electric motor (8a) of said actuator means (8), said control unit (9) being configured to switch said electric motor (8a) on and off. The insulated glazing unit (1) is characterized in that it comprises an active electronic circuit (12) in signal communication with said control unit (9) and at least configured to store identification data of said control unit (9), said active electronic circuit (12) being associated with said stationary portion (14) of said power supply means (13).
MULTIFUNCTIONAL WINDOW/DOOR AND BUILDING HAVING WALL CONFIGURED USING SAME
A multipurpose advertisement board comprising: a window; a vertical film comprising multiple film strips connected in series; a first image expression device comprising an operating unit rotatably connected to a vertical winding roller in upper and lower portions of the frame that vertically move the vertical film to display the multiple film strips in order; a horizontal film comprising multiple film strips connected in series; a second image expression device installed on the window frame, wherein the second image expression device comprises an operation unit rotatably connected to a horizontal winding roller installed in left and right portions of the window frame to rotate or release the horizontal film, thereby horizontally moving the horizontal film so that the multiple film strips of the horizontal film overlap with the film strips of the vertical film to make a combined image.
Electrostatic latching stop bar for dynamic shade, and/or associated methods
Certain example embodiments relate to electric, potentially-driven shades usable with insulating glass (IG) units, IG units including such shades, and/or associated methods. In such a unit, a dynamic shade is located between the substrates defining the IG unit, and is movable between retracted and extended positions. The dynamic shade includes on-glass layers including a transparent conductor and an insulator or dielectric film, as well as a shutter. The shutter includes a resilient polymer-based layer and a conductive layer. A first voltage is applied to the transparent conductors to cause the shutter to extend to a closed position, and a second voltage is applied to a stop to electrostatically hold the shutter in the closed position. The first and second voltage levels can be reduced once the shutter is extended to the closed position, the reduction to the first voltage level being greater than the reduction to the second voltage level.
Double-glazing systems with retroreflectivity properties
An insulating glazing system may include: at least two glass panes and a spacer element, wherein the at least two glass panes and the spacer element define a closed volume; a light ray shielding device within the closed volume, defining: transparent areas allowing passage of incident light rays with a given angle of incidence, whereas light rays having other angles of incidence are unable to pass through the transparent areas; and non-transparent areas configured to block the passage of the incident light rays, the non-transparent areas defining first and second surfaces; and a support means connected to the spacer element and operably associated with the shielding device. The shielding device may include a layer having retroreflective properties. The layer may at least partially cover one or both of the first and second surfaces of at least one of the areas of the non-transparent areas of the shielding device.
Spacer profile for a spacer frame for an insulating glass unit with interspace elements and insulating glass unit
A spacer profile for an insulating glazing unit for maintaining a space between glazing panes includes a profile body formed from a first heat insulating material that has, viewed in a cross section perpendicular to a longitudinal direction, outer side walls extending in a height direction and that has a distance in a transverse direction smaller than a first width, each side wall having an inner protrusion protruding towards the opposite side wall into a recess which is open to the inner side, and a diffusion barrier film made from a second material and firmly bonded with the profile body and, viewed in the cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, extending over the profile body on the outer side of the spacer profile and continuous thereto in the height direction on the outside of the side walls and/or in the same to a second height and into the protrusions.
