Window system covering and operating system

A window covering includes a head rail that supports a panel by lift cords such that one end of the panel may be raised and lowered relative to the head rail. An operating system controls movement of the panel and includes spools coupled to the lift cords such that rotation of the spools retracts and extends the lift cords. A shaft is connected to a spool of the lift spool assembly and to a brake and a spring motor. The spring motor applies a motor force to the shaft and the brake applies a brake force to the shaft such that the forces generated by the spring motor and brake hold the panel in the desired position.

An electromechanical orientation actuator (10) for orientating a sunscreen (SCR) with orientable blades (B1, B2, B3; B1, B2, B3) comprises, in series, a motor (11), at least one first speed reduction module (21), a second speed reduction module (31) and a rocker (4) for orienting the blades (B1, B2, B3; B1, B2, B3). The actuator (10) further comprises at least a third speed reduction module (43) in series between the second speed reduction module (31) and the orientation rocker (4). The actuator preferably belongs to a range of actuators further comprising an electromechanical movement actuator (110) for moving a sunscreen (SCR2) that can be moved between a raised position and a lowered position, comprising, in series, a motor (111), at least a first speed reduction module (121) and at least a winder (140) for a suspension cord (L3) of the first screen (SCR2) or for the first screen (SCR2). Notably, the two actuators have a speed reduction module of the same model. For preference, the motor of the first actuator and the motor (11) of the second actuator (10) have identical voltage/current characteristics.

Slat angle adjustment mechanism for window blind

A slat angle adjustment mechanism for Venetian blind includes a body shell and a transmission unit including a transmission gear set and retractable member. The transmission gear set includes a gear having a position-limiting hole corresponding a second through hole of the body shell, and a screw rod with an extension shank. The retractable member is connected to and movable back and forth along the extension shank of the screw rod. When pulling the retractable member, the retractable member is moved along the extension shank of the screw rod from a first position; when pushing the retractable member, the retractable member is moved along the extension shank of the screw rod from the second position back to the first position. Thus, subject to the retractable characteristic, the slat angle adjustment mechanism prevents damage during packaging.

A cordless roller shade includes a head unit (1), a shading face (2) mounted on the head unit, an elastic dynamic device (13) mounted on the head unit, and a bottom unit (3) mounted on the shading face. The elastic dynamic device includes a spring (133) having a thickness ranged between 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm. The bottom unit includes at least one balance member (33) having a determined weight ranged between 0.1 kg and 1.2 kg, and the shading face and the bottom unit have a total weight ranged between 1 kg and 5 kg, to balance the torque of the spring of the elastic dynamic device, so that the shading face is moved by the bottom unit to a determined position and is located at the determined position.

Remote controlled motorized wand for controlling blinds

A method of operating a motorized window covering is presented wherein in response to a standard movement command power is supplied to a motor in a continuous or generally continuous manner thereby moving the shade material from a start position to an end position in a generally continuous manner. However, in doing so, the motor rotates at a fast rate thereby causing elevated noise levels. In response to an automated movement command, power is supplied to the motor by cycling power to the motor between a powered state and an unpowered state thereby moving the shade material from a start position to an end position in an incremental manner. While moving the shade material in this incremental manner is slower, it is substantially quieter. The preferred mode of operation is selected based on whether the movement command is a standard movement command or an automated movement command.
