MOTORIZED WINDOW BLIND WITH TRANSMISSION DEIVCE IN BOTTOM RAIL
A motorized window blind includes a top rail, a bottom rail, a plurality of slats assembled between the top rail and the bottom rail, and a driving device received in the bottom rail. The driving device includes a transmission unit, a motor, a first cord and a second cord. A first end of each of the first and second cords is connected to the transmission unit, and a second end of each of the first and second cords extends through the slats and is connected to the top rail. The motor is connected to and drives the transmission unit to lift and lower the slats. The driving device received in the bottom rail is easily maintained. The top rail does not occupy too much space and is easily to be installed.
DAYLIGHT REDIRECTING WINDOW FILM LAMINATES
A daylight redirecting window film formed by a flexible multi-layer film laminate with a total thickness of less than one millimeter and configured to be applied to an indoor-facing window surface of a building facade. The window film includes a pair of outer film substrates flanking a light redirecting core layer. The core layer includes a parallel array of channels defining total internal reflection (TIR) surfaces and linear optically transmissive structures protruding transversely thought the core layer and bonded to the outer film substrates. A light output surface of the outer film substrate which is disposed on an indoor-facing side of the laminate includes a two-dimensional pattern of light scattering microstructures which are configured to spread light at least in a plane that is perpendicular to the channels. The TIR surfaces intercept and reflect a portion of sunlight propagating through the core layer such that the window film redirects that portion of incident sunlight towards a plurality of divergent directions, forming relatively high bend angles.
Daylight redirecting window covering
An optically transmissive light directing sheeting and daylight control structures employing the same. The light directing sheeting includes a core light redirecting layer employing TIR surfaces embedded into the sheeting and may further include one or more outer layers having light diffusing surface microstructures. The TIR surfaces intercept and reflect a portion of sunlight propagating through the core layer such that the light directing sheeting partially transmits and partially redirects the sunlight towards a plurality of divergent directions, forming relatively high bend angles.
Tilt adjuster control mechanism for a venetian blind
A Venetian blind to be fitted to an architectural frame, including a first rail; a second rail; and a transfer mechanism, wherein: the first rail includes a tilt controller configured to control tilting of the blind, the second rail includes a control actuator, and the transfer mechanism mechanically couples the control actuator and the tilt controller to transfer movement of the control actuator to the tilt controller.
Window assembly for use in a vehicle
A window assembly for use in a vehicle including a window frame including a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and an opaque shade movable relative to the window frame, wherein the opaque shade includes a first tab formed at a bottom end of the opaque shade. A transparent shade is movable relative to the window frame, wherein the transparent shade includes a second tab formed at a bottom end of the transparent shade. The first tab and the second tab are configured for selective integration with each other to enable dependent movement of the opaque shade and the transparent shade with each other, and to enable independent movement of the opaque shade and the transparent shade relative to each other.

Bullet proof blinds
An anti-ballistic protection system for protecting a space in a building or vehicle comprising a protective blind including plurality of slats or a sheet of a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material which are secured together using a glue, heat weld, or stitching. The system may include an automated control system operably configured to cause a change in state of the blind from a retracted state to a protective deployed state, which may include a sensing system operably configured to detect a threatening event, wherein the sensing system upon sensing the threatening event triggers the blind to transition from the retracted state to the deployed protective state such that in the protective state, the blinds are adapted to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic objects such as bullets.

DAYLIGHTING DEVICE
A daylighting device according to an aspect of the present invention is a daylighting device for a building construction including an eaves that blocks solar radiation on an outer side of a window. The daylighting device includes a daylighting member and a support member. The daylighting member includes a first base member that is light transmissive, a plurality of daylighting portions that are light transmissive and disposed on a first surface of the first base member, and a gap portion disposed between the plurality of daylighting portions. The support member supports the daylighting member. The daylighting device changes an orientation of light incident thereon and causes the light to emit to a space shaded by the eaves.
