TENSIONER AND SAFETY ENCLOSURE FOR WINDOW BLIND HOOP DRIVE AND CHANNEL CUT OUT
The invention relates to a tensioning device for tensioning an endless loop control element in a window blind and particularly relates to a blind operating mechanism and an endless loop blind control element for operating the blind mechanism and having: a channel extending from an upper end to a lower end, with the endless loop blind control element enclosed within the channel; a connector supporting the upper end of the channel adjacent to the blind operating mechanism; and, the tensioning device on the lower end of the channel. The invention also discloses a narrow profile control element having a sprocket wheel with the channel, connector and tensioning device.
ROLLER SHADE WITH A COUNTERBALANCING DEVICE
A counterbalancing device for a roller shade having a flexible sheet member and a roller shaft coupled to the flexible sheet member includes a stationary rod extending within the roller shaft, with the rod including a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The counterbalancing device also includes a rod adjuster coupled to the first end of the stationary rod and a spring winder positioned adjacent to the first end of the stationary rod. The rod adjuster is configured to selectively rotate the stationary rod and the spring winder is configured to rotate with the roller shaft. Additionally, the counterbalancing device also includes a spring having a first spring end coupled to the spring winder such that the first spring end rotates with the spring winder, and a second spring end coupled to the stationary rod such that the second spring end rotates with the stationary rod.
Cordless Roller Shade
A cordless roller shade includes a head unit (1), a shading face (2) mounted on the head unit, an elastic dynamic device (13) mounted on the head unit, and a bottom unit (3) mounted on the shading face. The elastic dynamic device includes a spring (133) having a thickness ranged between 0.1 mm and 0.2 mm. The bottom unit includes at least one balance member (33) having a determined weight ranged between 0.1 kg and 1.2 kg, and the shading face and the bottom unit have a total weight ranged between 1 kg and 5 kg, to balance the torque of the spring of the elastic dynamic device, so that the shading face is moved by the bottom unit to a determined position and is located at the determined position.
Roll-up shade having adjustable clips for height adjustment
A window covering can be configured as roll-up shade. The window covering can have a plurality of clips that are configured to be moveable from a first position in which the clips engage window covering material and a second position at which the clips do not engage the window covering material. When the clips are in the second position, the window covering material is manually adjustable from between a fully extended position to a retracted position. When the window covering material is moved to a retracted position, the lower portion of the window covering material may be rolled up upon height adjustment to form a roll of the window covering material. After the adjustment of the window covering material, the clips can be moved to their first position to engage the unrolled material to maintain a position of the rolled up material.
Roll-up window covering having an adjustable lower element to facilitate cordless height adjustment
A window covering can be configured to facilitate height adjustment of window covering material. In some embodiments, a handle or clips may be utilized to help maintain the position of the window covering material so that the use of an operator cord and/or exposed lift cords can be avoided or minimized.
Roller shade with a counterbalancing device
A roller shade including a flexible sheet member having opposite parallel first and second edges, and a roller shaft rotatable in each of two opposite directions of rotation. The flexible sheet member being attached along its first edge to the roller shaft, while the second edge of the flexible sheet member is freely depending from the roller shaft. The roller shade further comprises a counterbalancing device for balancing a portion of the flexible sheet member that is unwound from the roller shaft. This counterbalancing device has means for storing a variable torque that is complementary to a variable weight of the portion of flexible sheet member that is depending from the roller shaft. The means for storing variable torque includes a helically wound tension spring operatively interposed between a stationary central rod and the roller shaft.
CENTER DROP SHADE MOUNT
A covering for an architectural opening includes a bracket, a shaft coupled to the bracket, and a roller assembly coupled to the bracket, the roller assembly including, a material roll with a covering material, and a drive roller drivingly coupled to the material roll and operable to rotate with respect to the bracket about a first rotational axis, wherein the covering material includes a first portion that extends between the material roll and the shaft.
DAYLIGHTING MEMBER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DAYLIGHTING MEMBER, AND DAYLIGHTING APPARATUS
A daylighting member according to an aspect of the present invention includes a plurality of substrates having a light transmitting property; a plurality of daylighting portions having a light transmitting property, the plurality of daylighting portions extending linearly on a first surface of each of the substrates and extending in different directions on different substrates; and a gap portion provided between the plurality of daylighting portions. The plurality of substrates include at least a first substrate or a second substrate, the first substrate having a first daylighting portion inclined at an angle 1 relative to an edge side of the substrate, the second substrate having a second daylighting portion inclined at an angle 2 relative to the edge side.
LOCKABLE CORNER BRACKET
A lockable corner bracket includes a lockable encapsulated axle pulley which houses one end of a length of cord, with the free end secured to a side bracket. A cord locking mechanism is used to lock the encapsulated axle pulley and prevent unwinding of the cord, or loss of tension, during transport and installation to facilitate do-it-yourself installation. The axle pulley is further configured with a central slot to allow frontal insertion of a roller tube. The corner bracket may be used with a manual roller screen including roller tubes fitted with spring assist systems to facilitate winding and unwinding of the screen, or with roller tubes fitted with a tubular motor to drive rotation of the roller tube.
PULL-DOWN UV SCREEN FOR CHILD CARRIERS
The system provides a roller shade apparatus that can be affixed to any of a plurality of infant and toddler carriers (including strollers, playpens, car seats, rockers, and the like). A pair of adjustable clips allow for the roller shade to be mounted on carriers of a variety of widths. Once in place, the shade can be unrolled to the desired length and an adjustable cord with clamp (with Velcro backing pad) can be affixed to the body of the carrier to secure the shade in place. This allows the apparatus to be used in a variety of carriers with variable dimensions. The apparatus provides easy adjustment to various carrier designs with the use of ball joint swivels, spring clamps and an adjustable length cord.
