ROLL-UP SHADES WITH STRAPS, CONNECTORS, AND FASTENERS, AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A shade configured to be rolled up or down by a user includes a plurality of slats, a plurality of weaving cords which attach the plurality of slats together, at least one strap including a top end and a bottom end, the top end being attached to one of the plurality of slats at a back side of the shade and the bottom end being a free end including a connector. A method of using the shade includes rolling up the shade to a first rolled up position and securing the rolled up portion of the shade by wrapping the strap around the rolled up portion and securing the strap to a front side of the shade. A fastener may also be used to secure a rolled up portion of the shade.
Door curtain anti-dropping device having latching pin locking mechanism
A door curtain anti-dropping device for a rolling door is provided. The device comprises a worm shaft connected to the output shaft of the door operator, and a drive shaft comprising a limiting disc with through holes. The worm wheel having receiving slots is fixed on the drive shaft to mesh with the worm. The driven wheel is disposed adjacent to the limiting disc. Baffle plates designed to cover the through holes and receiving slots extend from the driven wheel. Plural latching pins stored with spring potential energy are compressed by the baffle plates and retained in the through holes and receiving slots. When the worm wheel is excessively worn and dislocated from the driven wheel, the baffle plates are moved to allow the latching pins to spring out and insert into the notches of the front cover, thereby lock the worm wheel and prevent the winding shaft from rotating.

DEVICE FOR DETECTING THE FALL OF A DOOR LEAF, SYSTEM FOR DETECTING THE FALL OF A DOOR LEAF, AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE FALL OF A DOOR LEAF
The invention relates to a device (100) for detecting the falling of a door leaf (2) of a door (1), preferably a high-speed industrial door (1), the device (100) for detecting the falling of a door leaf being provided on or in the door leaf (2). The device (100) for detecting the falling of a door leaf comprises a means for detecting the acceleration of said device (100) in at least one falling direction of the device (100), and a wireless communication unit (200) for emitting a falling warning signal in the event of a falling of the door leaf (2) being positively detected. The positive detection of the falling of the door leaf (2) is based on an acceleration being detected in the falling direction.

Power assist module for coverings for architectural structures
In one aspect, a power assist module for covering for an architectural structure may include a spring and a spring shaft extending through the spring. Additionally, the power assist module may include a threaded shaft member coupled to the spring shaft and a follower member rotationally coupled to the threaded shaft member such that the follower member is moved axially along the threaded shaft member as the follower member is rotated relative to the threaded shaft member.

GATE WITH A CRASH-DOWN PREVENTION MECHANISM AND METHOD FOR TRIGGERING THE CRASH-DOWN PREVENTION MECHANISM
The preset invention relates to a gate with a crash-down prevention mechanism, comprising a gate panel which can be opened and closed by the rotation of a gate panel drive, a motor which is coupled to the gate panel drive, and a braking assembly with which opening and/or closing the gate panel can be decelerated, and a first measuring device for determining at least one movement parameter of the gate panel. In order to improve such a gate to the extent that a crash down of the gate can be reliably detected, and a braking assembly which brakes the gate quickly and avoids damage to the gate is triggered just as reliably, it is proposed to provide a second measuring device for determining at least one movement parameter of the motor, and a comparator which compares the measured movement parameters of the gate panel and the motor and triggers the braking assembly when the measured movement parameters of the gate panel and the motor fall outside of a defined relationship to each other.
