Expandable work tray for a step stool or ladder
A step stool includes an expandable tray assembly. The expandable tray assembly has a fixed tray panel and a movable tray panel coupled to the fixed tray unit for movement relative to the fixed tray unit. The movable tray panel is illustratively movable between a collapsed position, arranged above the fixed tray panel, and an expanded position, arranged adjacent to the fixed tray panel.
Ladder Assembly
A ladder assembly having a front frame having a first pair of spatially disposed legs, a plurality of rungs extending between the first pair of legs, and a pivot bracket mounted at the top of the front frame, a rear frame having a second pair of spatially disposed legs, one or more rungs extending between the second pair of legs, and a fixed bracket mounted at the top of the rear frame, wherein the pivot bracket is attached to the fixed bracket via a single point pivot bracket system configured to pivotally connect the front frame and the rear frame, a folding bracket system configured to keep a correct angle between the front frame and the rear frame, thereby allowing the rotational movement of the legs.

Ladder assembly having an integrated shoulder rest
A ladder assembly having an integrated shoulder rest for facilitating moving of the ladder includes a stepladder that comprises a pair of front rails and a pair of rear rails. Each of a plurality of first cutouts extends arcuately into an inside face of a respective front rail. Each of a plurality of second cutouts extends arcuately into an inner face of a respective rear rail so that the second cutout is aligned with an associated first cutout when the front rails and the rear rails are in a collapsed configuration. The second cutout and the associated first cutout are configured to insert a shoulder of a user, positioning the user to carry the stepladder.

LIFT FOR FALLEN PERSON AT HOME
A household lift for fallen persons is devised in which a modified stepladder serves as the main lift structure while also serving as a stepladder storably foldable and usable within the house. A removable winch is set atop the stepladder, and it too can serve other purposes and can be of hand-cranked or electric powered design. The winch's lift cable is removably attached to preferably a prior-art sling type which first lays flat on the floor to facilitate moving the person onto it, and next pulls the person up into a secure sit-up position and then high enough to lower onto a wheelchair or other safe destination.

Foldable stepladder
A foldable stepladder in accordance with the present disclosure may be changed by a user from an expanded use mode to a collapsed storage mode. The foldable stepladder includes a handrail that moves to reduce the overall height of the stepladder when in the collapsed storage mode.
STEPLADDER TRAY
A tray for a stepladder is disclosed. The tray provides an area for work space or for storage of tools or materials in addition to that provided by the stepladder by itself. The tray is configured to be removably attachable to the top of the stepladder when in use or removably attached to the stepladder and preferably within the boundaries of the stepladder when not in use.
LADDERS AND LADDER RUNGS
A ladder and ladder rungs are provided. In one embodiment, a ladder comprises a first assembly having a first pair of spaced apart rails and a plurality of rungs extending between and coupled to the first pair of spaced apart rails. At least one rung of the plurality of rungs may include a first support surface portion, a second support surface portion, and a channel extending between the first support surface portion and the second support surface portion. In one embodiment, a rear surface of each of the first pair of spaced apart rails defines a plane and the first support surface portion is located on a first side of the plane and the second support surface portion is located on a second side of the plane. In one embodiment, at least one other rung is entirely positioned on the first side of the plane.
