An endoscopic tissue snare system comprising: a sleeve adapted to be slid over the exterior of an endoscope; a pair of push tubes slidably mounted to the sleeve, each of the push tubes comprising a distal opening and a proximal opening; a distal balloon secured to the distal ends of the pair of push tubes; and a snare comprising a pair of free ends and an intermediate portion disposed between the pair of free ends, wherein the snare extends into the proximal opening of one push tube, up the length of the push tube, out the distal opening of that push tube, across the face of the distal balloon, into the distal opening of the other push tube, down the length of that push tube, and out the proximal opening of that push tube.

Irrigated catheter

A fluid delivery catheter configured to allow optimal fluid distribution through each electrode by varying the diameter of a catheter lumen is disclosed. Uniform or different fluid flow rates through longitudinally spaced apart elution holes may be achieved. Exemplary fluids for use with the catheter include a cooling fluid, a therapeutic fluid, and a medication.

Systems and methods for treating pulmonary edema

Various systems and methods are provided for treating pulmonary edema. In general, a pump can be configured to be implanted within a patient at risk of developing edema. The pump can be configured to pump fluid out of the patient's lungs, e.g., out of the patient's interstitial and alveolar spaces. The pump can be configured to be fully implanted within the patient's body. The pump can be configured to continuously pump fluid, or the pump can be configured to be selectively actuatable in response to a trigger event. In an exemplary embodiment, the pump can include an inflow port coupled to an inflow tube in fluid communication with a lymphatic vessel of the patient, and can include an outflow port coupled to an outflow tube in fluid communication with a vein of the patient.

Dilation device and method of use

The disclosure provides for a device and method for dilation. The dilation device may include a catheter body having a proximal portion and a distal portion, a dilation expandable body in fluid communication with a first opening on the distal portion of the catheter body, and an occlusion anchor expandable body in fluid communication with a second opening on the distal portion of the catheter body. The method for dilating a stricture site may include inserting the dilation device into a stricture site of a patient, expanding the occlusion anchor expandable body at the stricture site, and expanding the dilation expandable body at the stricture site.

Multi-purpose balloon catheter for intra cavity radiation delivery

A multi-purpose balloon intra-cavity catheter includes a catheter having a proximal end portion, a central portion and a non-branching distal end portion, a plurality of lumens associated with the catheter extending from the proximal end portion, and a plurality of inflatable balloons positioned in the central portion and/or the non-branching distal end portion. Each of the plurality of inflatable balloons is communicatively associated with a corresponding one of the plurality of lumens, the plurality of inflatable balloons being selectively inflated or deflated to position and stabilize the catheter in a cavity for delivery of a medical treatment. The catheter can include an extraction opening associated with a lumen to remove fluids and materials from the cavity, and a connector associated with a corresponding lumen adapted to selectively receive one or more of a fluid medium or a radioactive isotope provided to a corresponding lumen for delivery of the medical treatment.

BALLOON ANCHORING GUIDE CATHETER EXTENSION

A guide catheter extension, having a push member having a proximal end and a distal end; a tube frame coupled to the distal end of the push member, the tube frame defining a lumen having a diameter sufficient to receive an interventional vascular device therethrough; and an inflatable element coupled to the tube frame, wherein the inflatable element is expandable into the lumen.

CATHETER FOR AORTIC VALVULOPLASTY
20220323726 · 2022-10-13 · ·

To provide a catheter for aortic valvuloplasty in which it is possible to significantly increase the therapeutic effect despite being minimally invasive. The present invention provides a catheter for aortic valvuloplasty characterized by including: first to third balloons that can expand and contract due to supply of a fluid, it being possible to change the relative positional relationships of the first to third balloons; first to third shafts that connect to the first to third balloons at the tip and supply fluid to the first to third balloons to cause the first to third balloons to expand and contract independently of each other; and at least one wire that introduces the first to third balloons from outside the patient's body to the aortic valve.

Methods of manufacturing an embolic filter balloon

An embolic filter balloon is disclosed. The embolic filter balloon may comprise an inflatable balloon portion. Further, the inflatable balloon portion may be coupled to a filter member. The embolic filter balloon may be disposed in a body lumen. In some embodiments, the embolic filter balloon may be configured such that when the inflatable balloon portion is at least partially inflated the filter member extends at least partially across the body lumen. Such a configuration may allow the embolic filter balloon, when deployed, to filter particles greater than a predetermined size from a fluid in the body lumen.

ENDOVASCULAR APPARATUS FOR PERFUSING ORGANS IN A BODY

In one representative embodiment, a method of perfusing organs in a patient's body is provided. The method comprises isolating the visceral arteries and the visceral veins from blood circulating through the patient's heart and perfusing the visceral arteries, the visceral veins, and the abdominal organs with a perfusion fluid that is fluidly separated from the blood circulating through the patient's heart. While the visceral arteries and the visceral veins are isolated, and the visceral arteries, the visceral veins, and the abdominal organs are being perfused, the patient's blood is allowed to continue to circulate through the heart.
