Downhole casing pulling tool
A method and apparatus for cutting and pulling a casing string from a well. A downhole casing pulling tool includes a tubular housing having a bore therethrough, a packer assembly configured to isolate an annulus between a casing and the tool, a slip assembly configured to engage the casing, and a piston assembly disposed in the bore of the tubular housing. The piston assembly is configured to operate an actuator, wherein the actuator is configured to operate at least one of the packer assembly and the slip assembly and modify a fluid pressure in the bore of the tubular housing.
GEOTHERMAL SYSTEM MATERIALS
The present invention provides components with metamaterial structures for use in enhanced geothermal systems.
Methods and systems for a bridge plug
Example of the present disclosure relate to a bridge plug. More specifically, embodiments are directed towards a bridge plug with a flapper, wherein the flapper is configured to set and unset based on a pressure differential and/or fluid flow associated with the bridge plug.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A BRIDGE PLUG

SINGLE-CONE BIDIRECTIONAL SLIP SYSTEM
A single-cone bidirectional slip system including a single cone, a slip in operable communication with the cone, and bidirectional wickers associated with the slip.
Downhole fishing tool and method of use
The present disclosure is directed toward a downhole tool used to free stuck tools in a wellbore and the method of using the downhole tool. The downhole tool includes at least one packer element for engaging a casing in a wellbore. The packer works to isolate one area of the casing from another. The downhole tool also includes at least one slip element for engaging the casing to maintain the position of the downhole tool in the casing or wellbore. Further, the downhole tool includes a mandrel slidably disposed within the at least one packer element and the at least one slip. The mandrel includes at least one port disposed therein above the at least one packer element when the mandrel is in a first position.
Well tool device for transporting a heat generating mixture into a well pipe
A well tool device for transporting a heat generating mixture into a well pipe includes an upper connection section, a main housing section, and a sealing device. The main housing section includes a compartment for the heat generating mixture. The sealing device is provided below the main housing section. The sealing device includes a lower supporting element including a lower wedging surface; an upper wedging surface faced towards the lower wedging surface; and a sealing ring provided between the lower wedging surface and the upper wedging surface. The sealing element includes a plurality of thimble-shaped elements inserted into each other to form a torus. Relative axial movement between the lower wedging surface and the upper wedging surface in a direction towards each other provides radial expansion of the sealing element.
Downhole tool securing device and frac plug
A downhole tool securing device and a frac plug which are excellent in setting properties and water pressure resistance and have excellent fracturing properties. A downhole tool securing device (slips) of a frac plug according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a button containing a powder metallurgy material and having a compressive elastic modulus of at least 13.5 GPa and a toughness of 0.23 GJ/m.sup.3 or greater and 1.0 GJ/m.sup.3 or less.
GRIPPING APPARATUS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS OF MANUFACTURING
A method of manufacturing a gripping element can include depositing a gripping element material, and thereby gradually building up the gripping element and forming a gripping surface thereon, the gripping surface being configured to grippingly engage a well surface. A gripping system can include at least one extendable gripping element configured to grip a well surface, and the gripping element including a gripping element material enclosing one or more voids in the gripping element. Another gripping system can include at least one extendable gripping element having a gripping surface configured to grip a well surface, and the gripping element including at least two gripping element materials deposited to form the gripping element. Properties or characteristics may gradually change or vary from one gripping element material to another gripping element material in the gripping element. The gripping element materials may each include the same basic matrix material.
