LIGHT AND BUOYANT RETRIEVABLE ASSEMBLY - WELLBORE TOOL AND METHOD
A wellbore self-retrievable tool for conveying and releasing a load in a well, the tool comprising: a floatation device; a load carrier; and a load release mechanism, the floatation device being configured to render the tool buoyant in a wellbore liquid.
Single trip wellbore cleaning and sealing system and method
A downhole tool for cleaning and sealing a wellbore includes a wash tool configured at a downhole end of the downhole tool to generate pulses of a first fluid at a first frequency and a first pressure for washing a target interval of a wellbore. The downhole tool further includes a plugging tool configured uphole or downhole from the wash tool to generate pulses of a second fluid at a second frequency and a second pressure for depositing a sealing plug at the target interval of the wellbore. The second fluid has a higher viscosity than the first fluid, the second frequency is lower than the first frequency, and the second pressure is higher than the first pressure.
Telemetrically operable packers
A down-hole packer is provided for positioning in a wellbore to establish a seal with a surrounding surface. The packer includes a sealing element that is responsive to compression by a setting piston to radially expand into the wellbore. An actuator is provided to longitudinally move the setting piston in response to a telemetry signal received by the down-hole packer. The actuator can include a hydraulic pump, an electromechanical motor or valves operable to control hydraulic energy to apply a down-hole force to the setting piston.

Finishing tool with inflatable overshot
A fishing tool for a fishing arrangement to remove a stuck fish or object from a wellbore. The fishing tool includes an overshot housing which defines an interior chamber. An inflatable bladder element resides within the interior chamber and is inflatable radially inwardly to capture a portion of the stuck fish. The fish is removed as the fishing arrangement is pulled out of the wellbore.
Downhole positive displacement pump
A downhole double-acting positive displacement pump has a housing with a first end 1 and a second end, the housing having a pump inlet, a pump outlet arranged closer to the second end, a first chamber arranged in the housing and having a first outlet in fluid communication with the pump outlet, a first piston movable in the first chamber for pressing fluid out of the pump outlet, and a drive to reciprocate the first piston. The first piston divides the first chamber into a first and second chamber parts, the first chamber part having the first outlet and a first inlet, a first valve being arranged at the first outlet, a second valve being arranged in the first inlet. The second chamber part has a second outlet in fluid communication with the pump outlet and a second inlet, a third valve being arranged in the second outlet, and a fourth valve being arranged in the second inlet. The downhole pump further has a control unit for controlling an output of the drive into the movement of the first piston in the first direction or the second direction.
PROVISION OF INTERNAL LINES IN A WELL TOOL
A well tool can include a closure member having open and closed positions, a seat having a flow passage blocked by the closure member in the closed position, and a line extending through the seat. A communication method can include positioning a conduit in an interior of a well tool, and conducting a signal via the conduit between annular structures surrounding a longitudinal flow passage of the well tool. A well system can include a well tool connected in a tubular string, a flow passage of the tubular string extending through the well tool, the well tool including a closure member having open and closed positions, in which the closure member respectively permits and blocks flow through the flow passage, an annular cavity surrounding the flow passage, and a line, the closure member and the line being positioned in the annular cavity in the open position.
Inflatable packer system for submersible well pump
A well pump system includes a fluid pump having an inlet and a discharge. The inlet and discharge are separated longitudinally by an inflatable annular seal. An inflation line extends between the discharge and an inflation inlet of the inflatable annular seal. A pressure relief is operable to direct flow from the discharge to the inflation line. The pressure relief is operable to open the discharge to flow to surface in the well when a predetermined fluid pressure is reached. The system includes means for opening the inflation line to release pressure in the inflatable annular seal when a selected tension is applied to the well pump system.
ANNULAR BARRIER WITH EXPANSION VERIFICATION
The present invention relates to an annular barrier for being expanded in an annulus between a well tubular structure and a wall of a borehole or another well tubular structure downhole for isolating a first zone from a second zone in the annulus, the annulus having an annulus pressure, the annular barrier comprising: a tubular part for being mounted as part of the well tubular structure, the tubular part comprising an inside having an inside pressure, an expandable sleeve surrounding the tubular part and having an inner face facing the tubular part and an outer face facing the borehole or the wall, each end of the expandable sleeve being connected with the tubular part, an annular space between the inner face of the expandable sleeve and the tubular part, the annular space having a space pressure, and a valve system having a first system position in which fluid communication is provided between the inside of the tubular part and the annular space and a second system position in which fluid communication is provided between the annular space and the annulus, and a space fluid channel fluidly connecting the valve system with the annular space and which annular space in the first system position is fluidly connected with the inside of the tubular part and the annular space in the second system position is fluidly connected with the annulus, wherein the annular barrier further comprises an expansion indication unit and a chamber having a chamber pressure which is lower than a predetermined first pressure, the expansion indication unit has a first port in fluid communication with the space fluid channel, a second port in fluid communication with the chamber and a third port in fluid communication with the inside of the tubular part, the expansion indication unit has a first unit position in which the second port is fluidly disconnected from the third port and a second unit position in which the second port is fluidly connected with the third port.
