Expansion cone with rotational lock
An expandable tubular having a receptacle at its lower end is installed in a wellbore. An axial force is generated on a solid cone assembly to push the solid cone assembly. The solid cone assembly includes a cone body formed from a drillable material, the cone body having an expansion surface, a first expansion profile formed in a first portion of the expansion surface, and a second expansion profile formed in a second portion of the expansion surface. The second expansion profile includes one or more facets. The facets of the second expansion profile engage the receptacle, providing a rotational lock to the cone body. After expansion of the expandable tubular, the cone body may be drilled or milled.
CASING FLOAT TOOL
A rupture disc assembly and a float tool incorporating the rupture disc assembly is disclosed. The rupture disc assembly may include a rupture disc assembly comprising a rupture disc, an upper tubular portion and a lower tubular portion, and a securing mechanism for holding the rupture disc between the upper and lower tubular portions. A float tool for creating a buoyant chamber in a casing string may include the rupture disc assembly and a sealing device for sealing the lower end of the casing string, the buoyant, sealed chamber may be created there between. In operation, applied fluid pressure causes the rupture disc to move downward. The rupture disc may be shattered by contact with a surface on the lower tubular portion. Full casing internal diameter may be restored in the region where the rupture disc formerly sealed the casing.
Operating sleeve
A downhole apparatus has a sleeve body sleeve body defining a sleeve body inner surface. The sleeve body has an internal thread on at least a portion thereof. The internal thread defining having a thread minor diameter. A plug seat is pressed into the threaded portion of the sleeve body. The plug seat has an unthreaded outer surface defining a plug seat outer diameter. The plug seat outer diameter is greater than the thread minor diameter.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR ROTATING A CASING TO ENSURE EFFICIENT DISPLACEMENT OF CEMENT SLURRY
Rotating a casing during a cementing operation to ensure efficient displacement of cement slurry. More specifically, embodiments are directed towards a sub and rotating tool that are positioned above a first cement operation, wherein the rotating tool is positioned in a kickoff point or build section of a horizontal well.
Staged cementing device and staged cementing method
A staged cementing device includes a cylindrical body having an inner chamber. A circulating opening and a liquid inlet recess open to the inner chamber are arranged on a wall of the body. An opening assembly is arranged in the body, which has an opening sleeve and an opening seat located in the opening sleeve. Initially the opening sleeve is connected with the body through a first shear pin and covers the circulating opening, and the opening seat is connected with the opening sleeve through a second shear pin and covers the liquid inlet recess. A packer includes a packing valve body and a packer rubber. The packing valve body includes a flow channel in communication with the liquid inlet recess, and the packer rubber includes a liquid reservoir in communication with the flow channel. The second shear pin is sheared off in response to primary cementing procedure.
HYDRAULIC PORT COLLAR
A hydraulic port collar includes a housing having one or more housing ports. The hydraulic port collar includes a port collar bore disposed within the housing forming an inner surface of the housing. The hydraulic port collar includes a sliding sleeve disposed within the port collar bore. The sliding sleeve has a sliding sleeve inner surface and a sliding sleeve outer surface. The hydraulic port collar includes a dissolvable or fragmentable landing seat radially aligned with and abutting the sliding sleeve inner surface.

Hydraulically opened and ball on seat closed sliding sleeve assembly
Ported sub openings are controlled by a sliding sleeve assembly. In one variation an external sleeve is pressure actuated with internal pressure to open the ports. After the treatment the ports are closed with a ball landed on an internal sleeve seat and pressure applied from above. In a different arrangement a single internal sleeve is provided that is responsive to tubing pressure to open after breaking a retaining member. After the downhole procedure a ball is landed on a seat on the sleeve and pressure is applied to close the ports with the shifted sleeve and ball moving in tandem. Multiple sliding sleeves can be sequentially operated with sliding sleeves held by retainers that break at sequentially higher pressure moving in an uphole direction.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CEMENTING OF WELLBORES
Various embodiments of a tubular valve assembly for cement completion of wellbores and methods of using the tubular valve assemblies are provided.
