20210317727 · 2021-10-14 · ·

A nozzle for use with a limited entry liner is disclosed. A limited entry liner can house multiple nozzles and each nozzle can include a barrel and a central, dissolvable region. The dissolvable region is made of a material that has specific properties that allow the central region to withstand pressure and environment in a well up to a certain, known point at which time the central portion will dissolve and allow fluid to pass into the limited entry liner.

Thru-tubing retrievable intelligent completion system

Provided are systems and methods for thru-tubing completion including a sub-surface completion unit (SCU) system including a SCU wireless transceiver for communicating with a surface control system of a well by way of wireless communication with a down-hole wireless transceiver disposed in a wellbore of the well, one or more SCU anchoring seals having an un-deployed position (enabling the SCU to pass through production tubing disposed in the wellbore of the well) and a deployed position (to seal against a wall of the target zone of the open-hole portion of the wellbore to provide zonal isolation between adjacent regions in the wellbore) and one or more SCU centralizers having an un-deployed position (enabling the SCU to pass through the production tubing disposed in the wellbore of the well) and a deployed position (to position the SCU in the target zone of the open-hole portion of the wellbore).

Stage cementing an annulus of a wellbore

A stage cementing tool includes a housing configured to couple to a casing and having a central bore therethrough, a first plurality of ports arranged on a radial surface of the housing and configured to fluidly connect the central bore and an annulus of a wellbore, a second plurality of ports arranged on the radial surface of the housing uphole of the first plurality of ports and configured to fluidly connect the central bore and the annulus of the wellbore, an expandable element coupled to the housing between the first plurality of ports and the second plurality of ports, and a sleeve. The sleeve is moveable from a first position on the housing to a second position on the housing to fluidly disconnect the central bore and the annulus through the first plurality of ports and fluidly connect the central bore and the annulus through the second plurality of ports.

Method and apparatus for setting an integrated hanger and annular seal before cementing

A method of performing an annular cementing operation after setting an integrated hanger and seal includes introducing a tubular including a flow passage having an inlet and an outlet into a wellbore, positioning and setting the integrated hanger and seal in the tubular, flowing cement between the tubular and the integrated hanger and seal into the inlet of the flow passage, passing the cement through the flow passage to the outlet, flowing the cement from the outlet, and closing the outlet.

Stage tool

A method of closing a stage tool in a wellbore includes releasing a closing tube into the wellbore; attaching the closing tube to the stage tool; and expanding the closing tube, thereby closing a port of the stage tool.

Stage cementing system

A stage cementing system includes a stage cementing assembly having a stage tool. The stage tool has an outer mandrel, an inner mandrel coupled to and disposed inside of the outer mandrel, an annular chamber between the outer mandrel and the inner mandrel, a first outer port through the outer mandrel, and longitudinally spaced first and second inner ports through the inner mandrel. The stage cementing system further includes an inner string assembly configured to be located inside the inner mandrel. The inner string assembly has a tubular body having a central throughbore and longitudinally spaced first and second side ports, a lower external seal element below the first and second side ports, a middle external seal element between the first and second side ports, and an upper external seal element above the first and second side ports.

CASING FLOAT TOOL

A rupture disc assembly and a float tool incorporating the rupture disc assembly is disclosed. The rupture disc assembly may include a rupture disc assembly comprising a rupture disc, an upper tubular portion and a lower tubular portion, and a securing mechanism for holding the rupture disc between the upper and lower tubular portions. A float tool for creating a buoyant chamber in a casing string may include the rupture disc assembly and a sealing device for sealing the lower end of the casing string, the buoyant, sealed chamber may be created there between. In operation, applied fluid pressure causes the rupture disc to move downward. The rupture disc may be shattered by contact with a surface on the lower tubular portion. Full casing internal diameter may be restored in the region where the rupture disc formerly sealed the casing.

Downhole Apparatus
