A plug system includes a lower plug, an upper plug, and a sleeve configured to be positioned at least partially within the lower plug, the upper plug, or both. The sleeve defines one or more channels in an outer surface thereof. The sleeve is configured to shift axially from a first position into a second position with respect to the lower plug. In the first position, fluid is prevented from flowing through the one or more channels. In the second position, the fluid is permitted to flow through the lower plug via the one or more channels.

A toe valve to control the injection of fluid into a toe of an oil or gas well and including: a body with a bore, the body having a port adapted to permit fluid flow between the bore and an outlet on an external surface of the toe valve when the port is open; a closure member adapted to move from an initial closed position in which the port is closed, to an open position in which the port is open; and an actuating mechanism which can be actuated to urge the closure member from the initial closed position toward the open position, and which can be reset when the closure member is moving between the closed and open positions to return the closure member to the initial closed position.

A frac sleeve system includes a well casing with a tubular wall having a frac port defined there through for hydraulic fracturing. A sleeve within the well casing includes a sleeve body. The sleeve is mounted for axial movement relative to the tubular wall of the well casing among three positions including: a closed position in which the sleeve body blocks the frac port, a frac position in which the sleeve body clears the frac port so the frac port is open for hydraulic fracturing there through, and a production position in which the sleeve at least partially blocks the frac port.

Selectively bypassing float collar

A body defines a central flow passage. A check valve is located within the central flow passage. The check valve is supported by the body. The check valve is arranged such that a fluid flow travels in a downhole direction during operation of the float collar. An auxiliary flow passage is substantially parallel to the central flow passage and is defined by the body. The auxiliary flow passage includes an inlet upstream of the check valve and an outlet at a downhole end of the float collar. A rupture disk seals the inlet of the auxiliary flow passage. The rupture disk is configured to burst at a specified pressure differential.

DOWNHOLE APPARATUS WITH A VALVE ARRANGEMENT

A valve arrangement is for a downhole apparatus having a tubular body having first and second ports in a wall thereof. The valve arrangement being configurable to be locked in a first configuration with the tubular body, such that the first port is closed and the second port is closed; configurable to be locked in a second configuration with the tubular body, such that the first port is open and the second port is closed; and configurable to be locked in a third configuration with the tubular body, such that the first port is closed and the second port is open.

A body defines a central flow passage. A check valve is located within the central flow passage. The check valve is supported by the body. The check valve is arranged such that a fluid flow travels in a downhole direction during operation of the float collar.
