Seal configuration for downhole reciprocating pumps

A downhole reciprocating pump configured for deployment within a tubing string. The reciprocating pump includes a pump barrel, a plunger inside the pump barrel, a lower seating nipple connected within a lower portion of the tubing string and a lower hold-down connected to the pump barrel. The lower hold-down is configured for a mechanical latching engagement with the lower seating nipple. The reciprocating pump also includes an upper seating nipple connected within the tubing string above the lower seating nipple. The upper seating nipple is longer than the lower seating nipple. The reciprocating pump further includes an upper hold-down that has one or more seals that contact an interior surface of the upper seating nipple.

The unit further includes a motor having a stator mounted to the crown and a rotor torsionally connected to the sprocket; and a sensor for detecting position of the counterweight assembly. The pumping unit may include a dynamic control system for controlling a speed of a motor.

Rod rotator assembly for well pumping rod strings

A mechanical rod rotator assembly comprising a mechanical rod rotator and an actuating mechanism for a mechanical pumping rod rotator, wherein the mechanism comprises a connecting arm and a guide member that slidably embraces the pumping rod, in order to allow a pivoting lever that is in connection with said connecting arm, to interact with the internal mechanism of the rod rotator to gradually rotate the pumping rod and thus avoid impartial wear caused by the constant up and down reciprocating movement of the same within the well, being in turn that the mechanism of the invention does not require special tools for its assembly and installation.

A methodology for integrated pump and well data for managing pump-lifted wells in hydrocarbon fields is provided. Rod pumps are widely applied to various types of wells to provide uplift and may play a dominant role in the flow of hydrocarbon from reservoir to surface. Assess the state of each well and its components (including the associated rod pump) is important for optimal well and reservoir management for fields with artificially lifted wells. As such, a methodology is disclosed that performs machine learning in order to generate a machine-learned model using pump card data and at least one of well data, reservoir data, flowline data, user input data, or data generated from analysis of one or more of the well data, the reservoir data, the flowline data, or the user input data.

Pumping unit bases with driven piles

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to a pumping unit base and methods for operating with the pumping unit base. The pumping unit base may include a plurality of driven piles installed in the ground, and a metal platform fixedly attached to the plurality of driven piles, wherein the metal platform is positioned above the ground. The metal platform may be removed from the driven piles and reinstalled to the driven piles.

System and method for monitoring and adjustment of the well string within a well tubular
