SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SELECTIVE HIS BUNDLE MAPPING AND PACING
Systems and methods are disclosed for an electrical sensing, pacing, and ablation device comprising a bendable and stretchable balloon catheter and a bendable and stretchable first layer connected to or embedded in said balloon catheter, where the first layer has an electrode array with a plurality of electrodes. The is also a bendable and stretchable second layer connected to or embedded in the balloon catheter, and the second layer has a pressure sensor array with a plurality of pressure sensors.
Pulmonary Embolism Removal System
The system isolates a clot using a proximal obstruction device, such as a balloon, to stop blood flow. An expandable device is advanced through the clot and is expanded to disrupt the clot from the vessel walls. The expandable device may include the use of tines, a balloon, negative pressure, adhesives, or jet spray to disrupt and dislodge the clot.
Tubular structures with variable support
A tubular structure having variable support includes a tubular member and a structural support member with a flexible tubular member over the structural support member, such that the flexible tubular member can engage and disengage or squeeze and release the structural support member. The structural support member can be a tubular mesh, stent, framework, skeleton, braid or other flexible framework. A fluid passage can be used to inflate and deflate the flexible tubular member. Methods of assembly and methods of use are also described.
HEAT EXCHANGE AND TEMPERATURE SENSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A method and apparatus are disclosed for regulating a temperature of an esophagus when heat or cold is delivered to a left atrium, the method including altering a heat exchange device from an insertable configuration to a heat exchanging configuration which conforms and corresponds with a cross-section of an inside of the esophagus such that the esophagus is maintained in its natural shape and location. In some embodiments the heat exchange device has a heating/cooling balloon which is inflated to be in the heat exchanging configuration. Some alternative embodiments includes altering the configuration of the balloon to conform to or correspond with the cross section of an esophagus by means other than inflation.
Flushing balloon catheter for observation and removal of clots under vessel bifurcation conditions
A catheter includes a shaft, a sealing balloon, a bifurcation sealing element and a camera. The shaft has a distal end for insertion into a clotted blood vessel of a brain of a patient. The sealing balloon, which is fitted at a proximal section of the distal end, is configured to proximally seal a portion of the clotted blood vessel. The bifurcation sealing element is fitted at the distal end, distally to the sealing balloon, and is configured to seal a bifurcation located at the proximally sealed portion of the clotted blood vessel. The camera, which is fitted at a distal edge of the distal end, is configured to visually image a clot that clots the blood vessel.
Transnasal catheter for imaging and biopsying internal luminal organs
A catheter including an elongated tube having a channel; an inflatable chamber coupled to the elongated tube and in fluid communication with the channel; and a high-density liquid delivery system in fluid communication with the channel, the high-density liquid delivery system delivering a high-density liquid to the inflatable chamber via the channel to cause the inflatable chamber to expand.
Flexible Endoscopic Peripheral
An endoscopic peripheral includes a flexible cable connecting a first end and a second end. The first end of a flexible cable including at least a camera and one or more lights positioned at a time of the first end. The tip is configured for insertion of at least a portion of the first end into a body of patient. The second end of the flexible cable terminates in a connector configured to physically connect the endoscopic peripheral to an electronic device external to the body of a patient. The electronic device powers the camera and the one or more lights and displays content captured by the camera.
Subintimal re-entry catheter and retrograde recanalization
A catheter for recanalizing a blood vessel having an occlusion therein via a subintimal pathway. The catheter includes a catheter shaft having an inflatable balloon mounted to the distal end portion of the catheter shaft. A flexible tubular member extends from the catheter shaft and along an exterior of the inflatable balloon. Inflation of the inflatable balloon deflects the flexible tubular member into a deflected configuration away from a longitudinal axis of the catheter shaft to effect re-entry into the true lumen distal of the occlusion.
CATHETER WITH RADIALLY EXPANDABLE SCORING ELEMENT
A catheter for dilating and/or destroying a stenosis in a vessel of a patient includes a catheter shaft having a cavity, at least one first active element within the cavity fixedly connected to a wall delimiting the cavity, and at least one radially protruding scoring element arranged on the outside of the catheter shaft at the cavity for exerting a pressure force on a stenosis in a vessel. The at least one first active element is configured to react to an axially movable element by radially expanding the catheter shaft and thereby radially expanding the at least one radially protruding scoring element.
