CUTTING TOOL HOLDING DEVICE
A cutting tool holding device, which is for holding a cutting tool, includes a base, a holder, and a limiting set, wherein the holder is disposed on the base, and the limiting set is disposed in a non-circular channel of the base. A connecting shaft portion of the holder is for inserting into a storage hole of the base, wherein the connecting shaft portion includes a shaft body and at least one positioning portion, and the non-circular channel includes an abutting member and a bolt. The bolt is passed through the abutting member, wherein the abutting member is moved to an opening hole of the storage hole along an axis by rotating the bolt so as to push the positioning portion and abut the shaft body.
Tool holder and combination of a tool holder and tool
A chisel holder for a ground processing machine includes a base portion including a chisel receiver and a holder receiver. The chisel receiver includes a chisel introduction region for receiving a threaded shaft of a chisel. The holder receiver is configured to receive an internally threaded nut. The holder receiver includes at least one retention face configured to secure the nut against rotation at a peripheral side or the nut.
Cutting Device
The invention relates to a cutting device for an earth working machine, having improved wear protection.
CUTTING BIT ASSEMBLY
A cutting bit assembly for a mining machine includes a holder having a first surface, a second surface, and a bore extending therebetween, and a bit having a first end and a second end. The bit further includes a tip, a shank, and a shoulder positioned between the tip and the shank. The shank is positioned in the bore of the holder and defines a shank axis. The shoulder engages the first surface of the holder. The shank includes a projection adjacent the second end. The cutting bit assembly also includes a retainer having a groove and a resilient member. The groove engages a portion of the projection. The resilient portion engages the second surface of the holder and biases the retainer along the shank axis and away from the holder.
PICK HAVING A SUPPORTING ELEMENT WITH A CENTERING EXTENSION
A round-shank pick having a pick head and a pick shank that includes a supporting element pierced along its longitudinal center axis by a mounting hole with an inside diameter for receiving the pick shank. A collar height, measured in the direction of the longitudinal center axis between an end, facing away from the seat surface, of the centering extension and the seat surface or between the end of the centering extension and an inner termination of a recess that is integrally formed in the supporting element in an indented manner with respect to the seat surface, is configured such that the ratio between the inside diameter of the mounting hole in the supporting element and the collar height is less than 8, and/or that the collar height is greater than an axial clearance of the pick mounted in a pick holder.
Cutting tool holding device
A cutting tool holding device includes a base, a cutting tool holder, a screw element, a fitting positioning element and a pulling element. The base includes an accommodating groove, a receiving hole and a fitting positioning hole. The cutting tool holder includes a holder and a cutting tool receiving component. The holder includes an engaging portion detachably engaged in the accommodating groove, and a concave portion communicated with the fitting positioning hole is formed on the engaging portion. The fitting positioning element is driven by the pulling element to move in the fitting positioning hole for pressing against the concave portion tightly.
Chisel Holder For A Soil Treatment Machine
The invention relates to a bit holder for an earth working machine, in particular a road milling machine, that comprises a bit receptacle in the region of a working side of a support member and that indirectly or directly carries an insertion projection on an insertion projection side of the support member, the support member comprising two stripping surfaces [first or second stripping surfaces] that form a stripping surface pair and are at an angle to one another. In order to achieve a stable and long-lived configuration with such a bit holder, provision is made according to the present invention that the support member comprises at least one further stripping surface that is at an angle to the two stripping surfaces of the stripping surface pair.
MACHINE PICK, HOLDING DEVICE, EXCAVATION SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A machine pick may include a pick tip, a shaft extending away from the pick tip along a longitudinal axis of the machine pick, and a reference element comprising at least one sensor-sensible scale having a magnetizable material. The reference element, the shaft, and the pick tip are rigidly connected to each other. The holding device may include a pick holder having an opening for receiving a machine pick, a locking device configured to form a form-fit with the machine pick received in the opening to limit movement of the machine pick, a receptacle area for receiving a portion of the machine pick where the receptacle area may be exposed to the opening, and at least one sensor. The sensor(s) may be disposed at the receptacle area and sense the portion extending into the receptacle area without contact, and/or the reference element is form-fittingly connected to the shaft.
Milling tool
An improved sleeve for securing a milling bit to a milling tool base is described. The base may include a lower portion that mates to a surface milling drum and an upper portion with a borehole that accepts the sleeve. The sleeve may include a deflectable rear portion that may include slot tails. When inserting the sleeve into the front of the borehole, the slot tails on the rear of the sleeve may deflect inwardly. The slot tails may then at least partially return to their resting position as they exit the rear of the borehole to lock the sleeve into place. The sleeve may hold a milling bit.
Tooth and retainer
A milling drum adapted to be rotated in a cutting direction about an axis defined by the cylindrical surface of the drum. A plurality of pairs of overlapping recesses in the cylindrical surface of the drum. A tooth or cutting bit with a base configuration matching a first of the pair of the overlapping recesses, and a lower portion of a side surface including a retainer engagement feature. A retainer has a base configuration matching a second of the pair of overlapping recesses, and a side surface including a tooth engagement feature. A fastener secures the retainer in the second of the overlapping recesses so that the tooth engagement feature of the retainer engages the retainer engagement feature of the tooth or cutting bit to hold the tooth or cutting bit in the first of the overlapping recesses.
