Epoxy truck
A truck-mounted system for dispensing a coating to a road surface includes a coating storage and dispensing system and an aggregate storage and spreader system disposed on the truck chassis. The coating storage and dispensing system includes a liquid storage unit, a plurality of heating units, and a plurality of pumping units for separately storing, heating, and pumping the liquid components of the coating. The liquid components are mixed and dispensed to the road surface by a dispenser. The aggregate storage and spreader system includes a container for aggregate material and a spreader unit for dispensing the aggregate material to the road surface over the coating. The spreader unit is movable between folded and extended positions on the truck chassis.
SPREADER FOR PARTICULATE MATERIAL WITH IMPROVED SPREAD CONTROL
An apparatus for spreading particulate material has a bin for holding particulate material, a rotatable disc for broadcasting the particulate material to a ground surface, a conveyor for conveying the particulate material in a particulate material path from the hopper to the rotatable disc, and a plurality of sluices situated in the particulate material path between the bin and the rotatable disc. Each sluice receives a portion of the particulate material and delivers the portion of particulate material to a radial and/or angular position on the rotatable disc. At least one of the sluices is independently moveable to adjust the radial and/or angular position on the rotatable disc to which the portion of particulate material from the at least one independently moveable sluice is delivered.
Flow divider for spinner spreader
A longitudinally adjustable flow divider situated in the particulate material path of a spinner spreader between the bin and the rotatable disc divides the particulate material so that the particulate material is dischargeable on to the upper surface of the rotatable disc on first and second laterally spaced apart longitudinally oriented drop lines. An actuator operably connected to the flow divider adjusts a longitudinal position of the flow divider to longitudinally adjust drop points on the drop lines at which the particulate material is dischargeable on to the rotatable disc. Longitudinal adjustment of the drop points along laterally spaced apart drop lines on one spinner disc permits control over spread pattern to help achieve uniform distribution of the particulate material on a ground surface.
SPREADING DEVICE FOR SPREADING VEHICLES
A spreading device is disclosed for spreading vehicles for discharging spreading agents. The spreading device includes at least one tank for receiving liquid spreading agents to be spread and at least one rotationally-driven discharge device, connected via a provided supply unit to the tank. The discharge device has at least one base body and one cover securely connected to the base body, wherein the base body defines a receiving chamber (AR) for the supplied liquid spreading agent and is in the shape of a cylinder. The base body has at least one bottom section, forming an underside (U) of the discharge device, with an inlet opening and at least one wall section projecting from the bottom section and concentrically surrounding an axis of rotation (RA). The discharge device has multiple discharge units, each having a discharge opening, for dispensing the liquid spreading agent from the receiving chamber (AR).
MODULAR DUAL WALL SPREADER WITH LIQUID STORAGE TANKS
A reconfigurable modular hopper spreader assembly is mountable in the bed of a truck and includes a modular dual-wall hopper with a receptacle for storing solid material to be spread onto the ground and with individual liquid chambers for storing a liquid or different liquids to be sprayed onto the ground. The hopper spreader assembly further includes a fluid conduit for filling or draining the liquid into or out of the liquid chambers, a liquid pump fluidly connected with the liquid chambers for drawing the liquid from the liquid chambers, a selector valve fluidly connected with the fluid pump for directing the liquid drawn from the liquid chambers, and a liquid dispenser fluidly connected with the selector valve for distributing the liquid onto an application area.
Controlled-release spreader
A spreader includes a frame having wheels mounted on an axle. A gear assembly on the axle is coupled with a shaft. A hopper is mounted on the frame and holds particulate that empties through an opening within the bottom wall. An impeller is mounted on the shaft and receives the particulate emptied from the hopper. A controlled-release assembly is mounted about the shaft and includes a drive housing secured to the hopper. The drive housing has a funnel opening to dispense the particulate therethrough. A transfer wheel within the drive housing is rotatably coupled to the shaft. When the shaft is rotating, the transfer wheel rotates whereby the particulate is delivered to the funnel. When the shaft is stationary, the transfer wheel is stationary whereby particulate is not delivered to the funnel.
Mulch blower truck conversion
A conversion is provided to adapt a salt truck spreading apparatus to a mulch blowing delivery system by replacing a centrifugal spreader with an air lock and blower while providing means to address clogs in the feeding of mulch.
Truck-mounted material spreader
A material spreader is mountable to a rearwardly projecting bumper of a vehicle for conveying and spreading material, the vehicle including a rearwardly projecting hitch receiver. The material spreader includes a hopper for holding material to be spread, a frame supporting the hopper and having a forwardly projecting hitch mount configured for coupling to the rearwardly projecting hitch receiver of the vehicle, and a support member having an underside for resting atop a top surface of the bumper, the support member being movable vertically relative to the frame. A tie down is connected to the support member and the frame for urging the support member and the hitch mount towards one another to effect a clamping action on the receiver and the bumper. The material spreader also includes a dual hinged lid and a gear box for driving a spinner and an auger.
Material Spreader Bucket for Loaders
A loader bucket has material spreaders on opposing sides of the loader bucket to spread material from within the loader bucket received through discharge openings in the rear wall of the bucket from an auger located in the bottom of the bucket. Each material spreader includes a spinner formed with blades to spread the material received through the discharge openings. The material spreaders are positioned below the apex of the V-shaped bucket and operable within a path of distribution that includes an interior boundary member oriented with a forward end closer to the center of the bucket than the rearward end to provide a distribution forwardly and laterally of the bucket. A low baffle mounted at the bottom periphery of the spinner blades forces material upwardly into a fluffy pattern. A high baffle provides a second boundary limit for the distribution of material.
Systems, devices, and methods for storing and spreading a material
A material spreading system may include a tote and a spreader attachable to a loading machine. The spreader may include a frame, an inlet, a lift arm, and a discharge mechanism configured to selectively discharge the material onto the ground. The tote may include a container having a plurality of walls enclosing an internal volume for storing a material. An opening may be formed in one of the plurality of walls and communicate with the internal volume. The tote may additionally include a lift arm engaging surface configured to engage the lift arm and permit the lift arm to manipulate the tote. The tote may also include a closure member at least partially covering the opening and configured to selectively permit transfer of the material from the container to the inlet of the spreader in response to the material exerting a force on the closure member.
