Wide-end trencher boom
A trencher that is convertible between first and second trenching configurations so that when the trencher is in the first trenching configuration, a trencher boom includes a first trenching portion at the distal end of the boom and a second trenching portion that extends along a longitudinal axis from the first trenching portion toward the proximal end. The first trenching portion defines a first trench width, and the second trenching portion defines a second trench width. The first trench width is larger than the second trench width. The second trenching portion has a greater length measured along the longitudinal axis as compared to the first trenching portion.
CONTROLLING EARTHMOVING MACHINE
A BEIM (Built Environment Information Model)-based control system (CS) for controlling an earthmoving machine (E) is disclosed. The control system includes at least one controller (CO) for controlling at least one movement of an earthmoving tool (3) attached to the earthmoving machine, at least one control unit (CU), and sensing means (11, 12) for providing the control unit with position data of the earthmoving tool and a carrier (1) of the earthmoving machine with respect to the BEIM. The control system also includes at least one displaying means for displaying at least one BEIM selectable by the at least one controller. An earthmoving machine and a method for controlling an earthmoving machine are also disclosed.
CONTROL UNIT FOR DETERMINING THE POSITION OF AN IMPLEMENT IN A WORK MACHINE
A control unit is provided for a work machine. The work machine includes an implement and an arrangement for determining the position and orientation of the implement. The control unit is adapted to, for at least two different orientations of the implement, perform the steps of:
determining that the implement contacts a reference surface,
determining the position of a reference point for the implement when the implement and the reference surface are in contact with each other, and
determining the position of a point on the periphery of the implement relative to said reference point by using said reference point position.
Forklift hydraulic motor based industrial driver apparatus
An industrial driver apparatus includes a forklift hydraulic motor, a drive shaft adapter, a hydraulic pump, and a frame. The forklift hydraulic motor includes a housing and a drive shaft. The drive shaft adapter is coupled to the drive shaft of the forklift hydraulic motor and adapts the drive shaft of the forklift hydraulic motor to a dimension of a threaded component being driven by the forklift hydraulic motor. The hydraulic pump pressurizes a hydraulic fluid used to drive the forklift hydraulic motor. The frame is coupled to a housing of the forklift hydraulic motor and prevents the forklift hydraulic motor from rotating while the drive shaft rotates the threaded component.
