Apparatus for removing unwanted material from the ground
09896811 · 2018-02-20 · ·

An apparatus for removing material from the ground is disclosed, with a path-clearing blade, a vehicle mounting, a body supporting the blade, and a jointed connection between the vehicle mounting and the body permitting the axis of the blade and body to rotate within a plane parallel to the ground. The jointed connection has first and second pivot arm each pivotally connected about a proximal axis of rotation relative to the vehicle mounting and pivotally connected about a distal axis of rotation relative to the body. As the body's axis rotates in the clockwise sense, the first and second arms each pivot counterclockwise about their respective proximal axes of rotation, and vice versa. The arms are preferably disposed above the body and the distal axes of rotation are mounted forwardly of the rear edge of a horizontal rotating brush mounted in the body behind the blade.

MACHINE INCLUDING IMPLEMENT LINKAGES WITH BUMP STOPS
20240417949 · 2024-12-19 · ·

A linkage for moving an implement between a working state and a stowed state with respect to a frame of a machine. The linkage includes a carriage, at least one arm assembly, and one or more bump stops. The carriage is configured to support the implement. The arm assembly is coupled to the carriage and is pivotable with respect to the carriage to move the implement to the stowed state. The bump stops are configured to contact an arm, of the arm assembly, in the stowed state of the implement to isolate impact stress away from the frame and onto the linkage.

Serrated plow blade

A plow blade comprising a plurality of serrated blade sections. The plurality of serrated blade sections include a serrated bottom edge. Each of the plurality of serrated blade sections comprise a plurality of serrations. At least one of the plurality of serrations includes a blade wear indicator. A plurality of wear bars can be mounted to a rear side of the serrated blade sections. Each of the plurality of wear bars include a weldment of carbide matrix along a bottom edge.

A LOCKING DEVICE FOR A WEAR MEMBER OF AN EARTH MOVING MACHINE

Locking devices and components for wear assemblies for securing a wear part to the blade or lip of an excavator. Said wear part will usually be a teeth adaptor, and when placed on the blade both parts determine a channel where the locking device is placed. Said locking device will usually comprise a C-clamp member for mounting in the rearward of said channel, a front structure to engage to the frontward of the channel and a wedge structure placed between the C-clamp member and the front structure.

GRADER MACHINE INCLUDING MOLDBOARD MOUNTING ASSEMBLY WITH BUMP STOPS

A system for retaining a moldboard to an implement frame of a grader machine includes one or more brackets, one or more actuators, and one or more bump stops. The brackets are coupled to a backside of the moldboard and are coupled to the implement frame about an axis. The actuators are coupled to respective brackets and are configured to tilt the brackets with respect to the implement frame about the axis to articulate the moldboard with respect to the implement frame. The bump stops are coupled to the implement frame and are configured to contact the respective brackets when the moldboard articulates from an intermediate position to one or more deviated positions.

CIRCLE ASSEMBLY FOR IMPLEMENT
20250223777 · 2025-07-10 · ·

A circle assembly for an implement of a motor grader includes a base plate defining a first slot and a second slot disposed adjacent to the first slot. The circle assembly also includes a circle fixedly coupled with the base plate and a first mounting bracket fixedly coupled to the base plate and the circle. The first mounting bracket defines a third slot. The circle assembly includes a first plate member fixedly coupled with the base plate and the first mounting bracket. The circle assembly also includes a second mounting bracket disposed adjacent to the first mounting bracket. The second mounting bracket is fixedly coupled to the base plate and the circle, wherein the second mounting bracket defines a fourth slot. The circle assembly further includes a second plate member fixedly coupled with the base plate and the second mounting bracket.

CIRCLE ASSEMBLY FOR IMPLEMENT

A circle assembly for an implement of a motor grader includes a circle and one or more mounting assemblies adapted to couple the circle with the implement. Each of the one or more mounting assemblies includes a first bracket coupled to the circle. The first bracket includes a first arm, a second arm axially spaced apart from the first arm, and a third arm connecting the first arm with the second arm. Each of the one or more mounting assemblies also includes a second bracket removably coupled to the first bracket. The second bracket is adapted to be coupled with the implement. Each of the one or more mounting assemblies further includes a fastener that removably couples the first bracket with the second bracket via the first arm and the second arm.

DURABLE CUTTING EDGES WITH WEAR RESISTANT WEAR INDICATOR

A cutting edge of a machine is fabricated by cutting one or more grooves within a base cutting edge and incorporating one or more hard tiles in the grooves. An edge groove may be cut into a ground-engaging edge of the cutting edge and hard tiles may be disposed therein. Additionally, a face groove may be cut into a corner of the cutting edge, within which hard tiles may be disposed. At the face of the cutting edge, distanced from the ground-engaging edge, a wear indicator groove may be cut and wear indicator tiles may be disposed therein. Furthermore, laser-clad abrasion resistant material may be provided on a face of the cutting edge to improve the wear resistance of the face. Further still, the corners of the cutting edge may be rounded at its end(s) to remove the sharp corners that wear faster than the rest of the cutting edge.
