Systems, methods, apparatus, and compositions for building materials and construction
A structural insulated building unit is provided for constructing a building. The structural insulated building unit includes an insulating core, first and second cementitious panels, and a connecting portion. The insulating core is defined by multiple sides and opposing first and second faces. The first and second cementitious panels are coupled to the first and second faces of the insulating core. The connecting portion is provided on one of the sides of the insulating core, and aligns the structural insulated building unit with an adjacent structural insulated building unit having a complementary connecting portion when constructing a building.
Board with pre-applied sealing material
A board with preformed seals. In an exemplary embodiment, a sealing material is applied to at least one edge of a board to form a preformed seal on that edge. The board is configured such that when the board is attached to a frame adjacent to a another board, at least a portion of the sealing material applied to the edge of the board seals against at least a portion of an edge another board. In one exemplary embodiment, the boards are configured to seal against edges of substantially identical boards. A plurality of the sheathing boards may be installed on a building frame to form a sheathing system that provides a moisture and/or gas barrier between and interior and exterior of a building.
Building connection comprising a first building element and a second building element
A building connection includes a first building element and a second building element arranged at a distance from each other. The first building element is connected to the second building element by at least one connecting device. The connecting device includes a load transfer element arranged in the first building element, and a support box molded into the second building element. The support box includes an inner bottom wall surface and a support box opening facing the first building element. The connecting device further includes a first sound-absorbing element arranged on the inner bottom wall surface of the support box, and a support plate which is arranged on top of the first sound-absorbing element. The load transfer element protrudes from the first building element and into the support box through the support box opening. A filling area is molded with a filling material. The filling area includes the support box and an area between the first building element and the second building element.
Modular wall system for exhibition booths
A modular wall system for use in trade shows includes a wall or header panel formed of frame parts, and a connecting bracket for detachably connecting the end of the panel to an upstanding column. Perpendicular sections of a corner connector are received in the hollow end of different ones of the frame parts to connect the frame parts. A fabric cover defines a recess with an open end adapted to receive the frame parts. A closure device is provided for at least partially closing the open end of the fabric cover. A vertical support member extends from the frame parts to a surface to transmit the weight of an accessory to the surface. The accessory may be an adjustable garment rack, a coupling grid, a shelving unit, or a peg-board unit and a hook. The system includes a crate adapted to receive a plurality of members for transport.
BOARD WITH PRE-APPLIED SEALING MATERIAL
A board with preformed seals. In an exemplary embodiment, a sealing material is applied to at least one edge of a board to form a preformed seal on that edge. Described herein is an acoustic structural panel having a first exposed major surface opposite a second exposed major surface and side surfaces extending between the first and second exposed major surfaces, the acoustic structural panel comprising a first protective layer comprising at least a portion of the first exposed major surface, a second protective layer comprising at least a portion of the second exposed surface, a core structure located between the first and second protective layers, the core structure comprising, a foam body; and a fibrous body, wherein the first major exposed surface of the acoustic structural panel comprises a plurality of apertures exposing the fibrous body.
UNITIZED CONSTRUCTON PANEL
A process for fabricating a unitized structure comprises creating a multilayer structure by applying a flame-retardant resin to a first layer and stacking, on the first layer, an intermediate layer comprising a honeycomb structure. Further, a second layer is stacked on the intermediate layer and the flame-retardant resin is applied to the second layer. The multilayer structure is then heated to a desired temperature and a pressure is applied about the multilayer structure for a predetermined process time. Moreover, the flame-retardant resin is prevented from entering spaces of the honeycomb structure. After elapse of the predetermined process time, the pressure is released, creating the unitized structure.
Connection member, ALC batten mounting node structure, and prefabricated mounting method
A connecting member, an ALC batten mounting node structure, and a prefabricated mounting method are provided. The connecting member includes a connecting part, a first pipe clamp, and a second pipe clamp. The connecting part includes a first connecting segment and a second connecting segment, the first pipe clamp and the second pipe clamp are respectively perpendicular to the first connecting segment, and symmetrically arranged on opposite sides of the first connecting segment, and the second connecting segment is bent towards one side of the first connecting segment.
Manufacturing of decorative surfaces by inkjet
A method for manufacturing decorative surfaces includes the steps of inkjet printing a color pattern with one or more aqueous inkjet inks including a polyurethane based latex binder; impregnating a paper substrate with a thermosetting resin; and heat pressing the thermosetting resin impregnated paper substrate carrying the inkjet printed color pattern into a decorative surface.
