The panel includes a water resistant barrier layer secured atop its outward facing surface. The water resistant barrier layer includes a skid resistant surface. The panels are made of lignocellulosic material. The water resistant and skid resistant surface may include indicia for aligning strips of tape or for aligning fasteners. A method for manufacturing the water resistant building panels is also disclosed and includes the steps of feeding paper onto a forming belt, depositing lignocellulosic material and the binding agent onto the forming belt so as to form a lignocellulosic mat, applying heat and pressure so as to impart the skid resistant surface on the paper, and cutting panels to predetermined sizes.

A nano-modified material for cavity wall with insulation for prefabricated building, preparation method and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of building materials. The material includes splicing structures and a nano-modified silane waterproof coating, wherein the splicing structure includes a recycled concrete structure layer and a nano-modified foam concrete thermal insulation core layer, the recycled concrete structure layer is a hollow cuboid structure with openings at both ends, the nano-modified foam concrete thermal insulation core layer is a structure formed by casting inside the recycled concrete structure layer, and the nano-modified silane waterproof coating is applied at a butt joint of two of the splicing structures.

No crane or specialized trades are required to construct the building on site Standardization allows for interchangeability of components for repair or changing of building dimensions either during the initial construction or later. Most components are commercially available materials joined into assemblies using simplified manufacturing operations to reduce costs. Most assemblies, including flanges and cleats connecting adjacent composite panels, rectangular and/or triangular lattice (truss), transom, pier, columns, shear pins with retention means, are re-usable should the building require repairs, re-purposing or relocation. A free-span interior is described maximizing flexibility for arrangement of interior rooms and furnishings.

A method for sealing a joint between first and second wall panels is described. The method comprises obtaining a first compressible, elongated gasket; positioning the first gasket on an edge face of the first wall panel; attaching the first gasket to the edge face of the first wall panel; and placing the second wall panel adjacent to the first wall panel to compress the first gasket therebetween.
