A tattoo ink mixing apparatus has a housing having a cavity, a plunger movable between a first position and a second position, and a dynamic member disposed in the cavity and adapted to engage with the plunger distal end. The dynamic member moves in response to movement of the plunger and alternatively creates a suction force and an expulsion force in the opening of the distal end of the housing as the plunger moves between its first and second positions.

Switch For Tattoo Machine
A switch or footswitch for use with a tattoo machine is disclosed. The switch or footswitch may include a housing configured to protect and house a plurality of components of the switch or footswitch. The housing may include an accelerometer that may be utilized to detect an acceleration associated with the switch or footswitch, such as a tap made on the housing itself. Upon detection of an acceleration associated with the switch or footswitch, the accelerometer may generate a signal and transmit the signal to a communication device of the switch or footswitch. The communication device may then transmit the signal to the tattoo machine to activate the tattoo machine, deactivate the tattoo machine, adjust a setting of the tattoo machine, or control operative functionality of the tattoo machine. The switch or footswitch may also include a radio frequency ground plate and overlay membrane to enhance radio frequency reception.
Adapter Device For Tattoo Machine
An adapter for use with a tattoo machine is disclosed. The adapter may enable a tattoo machine configured with a wireless battery pack to switch to a wired configuration by removing the wireless battery pack and replacing it with the adapter. One end of the adapter may be affixed to a portion of the tattoo machine so that the adapter may deliver power to the componentry of the tattoo machine to facilitate the operation of the tattoo machine. The other end of the adapter may include a connector for enabling connection of the adapter to a power supply or power source so that power may be delivered from the power supply or power source through the adapter and to the tattoo machine. When the tattoo machine is powered, the motor of the tattoo machine may reciprocate a needle included in a needle cartridge affixed to the tattoo machine.
TATTOOING AND PERMANENT MAKE-UP DEVICE
The present invention relates a device (10) for applying a tattoo or a permanent make-up or a similar skin treatment. The device has a grip portion (11) containing a drive unit, and a disposable needle-holder cartridge (13) which can be coupled to the grip portion (11). The needle-holder cartridge (13) comprises an attachment part (20) for attachment to the grip portion (11), a needle-holder head (28) with a stem (30) which partially protrudes from the attachment part (20), a needle supported by the needle-holder head (28), a tip (25) having a needle-guide nozzle (27). The needle-holder head (28) is arranged in the needle-holder cartridge (13) for a linear movement along the axial direction of the needle-holder cartridge (13), in order to cause the oscillation of the end of the needle in and out of the tip (25) of the needle-holder cartridge (13). The drive unit comprises an electric motor (M) having a drive shaft (15), an actuator shaft (41) which can be coupled to the stem (30) of the needle-holder head (28), a cam mechanism (16,17) operatively connected to the drive shaft (15), for transforming the rotary motion of the drive shaft (15) into a linear motion of the actuator shaft (41). For coupling of the actuator shaft (41) with the stem (30) of the needle-holder head (28) magnetic coupling means (39, 40) are provided at the end of the actuator shaft (41) and, respectively, at the end of the part of the stem (30) of the needle-holder head (28) which protrudes from the attachment part (20) of the needle-holder cartridge (13). The magnetic coupling means (30, 40) are adapted to stably, but releasably connect the actuator shaft (41) to the part of the stem (30) protruding from the attachment part (20) of the needle-holder cartridge (13), when the needle-holder cartridge (13) is operatively mounted on the grip portion (11). The attachment part (20) of the needle-holder cartridge (13) is provided with electric conducting means (22) adapted to come into contact with the electric terminals (21) of the electric circuit for energizing the electric motor (M) of the device only when the needle-holder cartridge (13) is operatively mounted on the grip portion (11) of the device, in order to establish electric continuity between the electric terminals (21) of the electric circuit for energizing the electric motor (M) of the device.

The present invention is a big step forward from the traditional method of drawing a tattoo on human skin, which requires a skilled artist to use the tattoo machine comprising a single needle to deposit ink single injection by single injection. The disclosed invention comprises of a customizable needle substrate, a charging unit, an image processor unit, an ink roller and may be an injection device, to print a permanent multicolor image on the human skin using an instantaneous method of injecting the ink at desired depth in a human skin, resulting in an image or tattoo on the human skin. The method also causes less pain in comparison to the traditional method of tattoo making, as the process is relatively quick. Furthermore, the disclosed invention reduces the dependency on a skilled artist to draw a tattoo on the human skin.

A scalp roller and method for tattooing a person's scalp that includes using a roller having a hollow cylindrical body adapted to retain ink therein, and an outer sleeve having a pattern formed thereon that is adapted to be placed around the outer surface of the cylindrical body and soak up ink therefrom, such that ink can be rolled upon the scalp of a person to form a pattern on the person's scalp, and wherein the person can change the look, size, and/or shape of the pattern before a tattoo is applied to the person's scalp.

Needle module for puncturing skin in a reciprocal manner. The needle module includes a needle unit, a housing and a biasing mechanism. The needle unit includes a needle. The maximum extension distance is 1.5 mm or less.
