An isolator system for preventing the conduction of thermal energy between the metal components of a wall assembly comprising isolator plates adapted to be placed between the metal components of a wall assembly and made of an insulating material. The isolator plates include at least one opening for receiving a fastener, said opening has an annular shoulder adapted to extend into an opening for receiving said fastener in a metal component of a wall assembly. Also disclosed herein is a thermal isolation washer and a girt for use with polymer panel construction.

CONTINUOUS WALL ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS

According to one embodiment, an insulated structure includes a frame comprising a plurality of wall studs coupled together and a plurality of foam boards attached to the frame to form a continuous insulative wall. A plurality of fasteners attaches the foam boards to the frame. Each fastener includes an elongate shaft and a cap. The elongate shaft is configured to penetrate through a foam board and into a wall stud to couple the components together. The cap is configured to be positioned atop a foam board to distribute a load relatively evenly to the foam board. A sealing tape is applied across seams between adjacent foam boards and over the fasteners' caps to seal the wall. A sealing caulk is applied to secondary fasteners and penetrations to seal the wall. In some embodiments, the structure has a fastener density of about 1 fastener per 243 in.sup.2 of foam board.

Method and a system for fastening an object to a facade

A method and a system for fastening an object to a faade comprising at least one supporting wall made in a hard material coated externally with a thermal insulation coat made in a crumbly material, the object being fastened to the wall by means of a fastening member received in an area for receiving a plot made in a hard material arranged in projection out of the wall. The object is fastened to the wall in an indirect way offsetting towards the outside of the faade the area of the plot. The plot is fastened to the wall by a fastening area extending between the wall and the receiving area. The plot is a straight cylinder extending through the insulation coat.

A wall anchor is provided, including: a main body and a sleeve member. The main body extends in a rod shape and includes a head portion, a body portion and a radial flange located between the head portion and the body portion, the body portion has an outer threaded segment, and the radial flange has a non-circular cross-sectional profile. The sleeve member includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion is coveringly disposed on an outer surface of the head portion, and the second portion is coveringly disposed on an outer surface of the radial flange and has a circular cross-sectional profile.

Sealing wall fastener assembly

A wall fastener assembly for retaining an attachment such as a girt alongside or near a wall includes an elongated shank that provides space for at least one intermediate wall layer between the girt and a supportive member such as a stud. A center bore extends through the wall fastener assembly, and may receive a fastener for securing the wall fastener assembly to the wall. Once the wall fastener assembly is secured to the wall, a proximally-located flange and a distal end of the shank bottom-out on different surfaces to ensure the attachment is properly mounted to the wall, and a distally-located sealing portion engages with an intermediate wall layer to form a fluid barrier within the wall.
