ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR HEAT INSULATING MATERIAL
[Summary]
[Problem] To provide an attachment structure with which a heat insulating material is easily and simply attached to a construction on the ground.
[Means of overcoming the problem] An attachment structure for a heat insulating material 10 installed on a foundation F having a building fixed on an upper portion thereof comprises a wall plate 15 which maintains the heat insulating material in a state of being in proximity to and facing an outside surface Fs, rising from ground E, of the foundation, and an attaching device 20 which positions and retains the wall plate in such a way as to be capable of sliding in a direction parallel to the foundation, wherein: the wall plate is formed as a structure that is positioned on a rear surface side of the heat insulating material with respect to the foundation, and that maintains the facing state of the heat insulating material by sandwiching the same against the outside surface of the foundation; the attaching device includes an upper retaining portion 21 which retains an upper portion of the wall plate on an upper portion of the foundation in a non-detachable manner, and a lower retaining portion 23 which retains a lower portion of the wall plate on the outside surface of the foundation so as to be non-detachable in a separating direction; the lower retaining portion is formed as a receiving structure which receives the lower portion of the wall plate in a placed state; and the upper retaining portion is formed as a structure which faces a rear surface side, with respect to the heat insulating material, of the upper portion of the wall plate, and which restricts movement of the upper portion of the wall plate in the separating direction.
Casing accessories
The present disclosure is directed to casing accessories for use with multi-component wall systems. Some of the casing accessories of the present disclosure can include a mounting bracket to attach the accessory to a wall structure and a channel formed in part by a spacer that can be adjusted to adjust the channel width in order to encase components of multi-component wall systems that can vary in width from one installation to another. In another aspect, some of the casing accessories can include one or more drainage canals that direct water from one part of the casing accessories to another. In another aspect, some of the casing accessories can impede fire propagation through multi-component wall systems.
Ventilation member and systems incorporating the same
A ventilation member includes a base panel for mounting onto a substrate, an upper panel extending transversely from the base panel, a lower panel spaced apart from the upper panel, and an inner panel extending transversely from the lower panel. A passageway is defined having a first portion defined between the base panel and the inner panel and a second portion extending transversely from the first portion and being defined between the upper and the lower panel. When used as part of a system, the ventilation member may be an upper ventilation member and the system may include a second lower ventilation member including a base panel and a leg extending transversely thereof.
BOTTOM CAP FOR FOAM BUILDING PANELS
A bottom cap for a foam building panel includes an elongate rear wall; an elongate front wall spaced from and extending parallel to the elongate rear wall; a bottom wall extending at an obtuse inside angle from the elongate rear wall to the elongate front wall thereby to form an open-topped channel; a first set of spaced pedestals extending into the open-topped channel from a region of the bottom wall that is proximal to the elongate rear wall; and a set of spaced apertures extending from inside the open-topped channel through a region of the bottom wall that is proximal to the elongate front wall. The structure of the bottom cap provides capping for the foam building panel but also some spacing and draining capabilities for enabling moisture that has entered between the bottom cap and the foam building panel to escape.
