APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR ACOUSTIC CURVED CEILING BAFFLE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF
An acoustic curved ceiling baffle and system that incorporates sidewalls with cuts or kerfs to facilitate flexing of the sidewalls so that a desired curvature can be achieved. Curved top and bottom portions are included and assembled with the sidewalls to form an air gap in the curved ceiling baffle.
Ceiling system and ceiling baffle thereof
A ceiling system and a ceiling baffle thereof. The ceiling baffle may include a body portion and at least one locking mechanism. The body portion may have a top edge having a recess that is defined by a floor, a first wall extending from the floor to the top edge, and a second wall extending from the floor to the top edge. The at least one locking mechanism may protrude from the floor of the recess along a longitudinal axis and be spaced apart from the first wall by a first gap and from the second wall by a second gap. The at least one locking mechanism may have a first engagement surface that faces the floor of the recess on a first side of the longitudinal axis and a second engagement surface that faces the floor of the recess on a second side of the longitudinal axis.
CEILING BAFFLE ASSEMBLY
A ceiling baffle assembly including a panel structure and at least one locking piece. The panel structure is alterable between a flat state and a folded state and forms a ceiling baffle having a top end with one or more insert locations when in the folded state. The locking piece has a top portion, a first side portion extending downwardly from the top portion, and a second side portion extending downwardly from the top portion. The second side portion is spaced from the first side portion. The locking piece may be non-integral with the panel structure. The first and second side portions of the at least one locking piece may be insertable into one of the one or more insert locations to hold the panel structure together in the folded state.
CEILING SYSTEM AND CEILING BAFFLE THEREOF
A ceiling system includes a plurality of elongated ceiling baffles that are configured to be coupled to a ceiling hanger system. The plurality of elongated ceiling baffles are formed by a sheet of felt draped from a stiffener so that an air gap is defined therein.
