A multi-level parking garage constructed to be in close proximity to an adjacent building includes two or more levels above ground. Each of the two or more levels has a floor and a ceiling. The multi-level parking garage includes a load-bearing support structure for supporting the two or more levels and a plurality of fire-rated, non-load bearing exterior wall panels. Each of the exterior wall panels are independently and removably mounted to the support structure around at least a portion of a periphery of each of the two or more levels such that the plurality of exterior wall panels extend from the floor of each of the two or more levels to the ceiling of each of the two or more levels.

Described herein are methods and systems for installing flooring systems that provide waterproofing or water-control capabilities. The flooring systems can utilize a gypsum material or any other self-leveling or concrete material along with a structural board or any other type of cement, wood, gypsum board, compressed board, cellulose fiberboard, sheathing board, or sheet metal material. The flooring systems include a waterproof coating applied to the structural boards to provide the water-control features. The waterproof coating covers seams between structural boards and between structural boards and the subfloor.

A tile system for a burn room includes a plurality of interlocking surface tiles, each surface tile having an upper portion and a lower portion. The lower portion extends beyond at least a portion of a perimeter of the upper portion to define a flange. A backing layer (10) of a multilayer thermal insulation panel (100) for building constructions includes a glass fiber reinforcement layer (1) having a first surface (F1) and an opposite second surface (F2). The reinforcement layer is interposed between a first coating layer (2) attached to the first surface (F1) of the reinforcement layer and a second coating layer (3) attached to the second surface (F2) of the reinforcement layer (1). The first (2) and second (3) coating layers are manufactured by a mixture including an organic binder.

A wood or engineered wood structural panel, such as, but not limited to, OSB (“oriented strand board”) or plywood, that is both fire-resistant and water resistant. The panel is factory-coated with a product that provides fire resistance. The treatment gives it a Fire-Resistant (FR) performance (for use in a one- or two-hour rated assembly). The panel also is overlaid or coated in a factory setting with a weather/water resistive barrier (WRB). The structural panel thus combines a fire-resistant structural sheathing and WRB product in one integrated panel produced at a factory prior for installation at a job site.

A method of making a concrete panel board is provided. The method includes the steps of: (a) providing a substrate; (b) applying a primer layer to the substrate; (c) drying the board after step b; (d) applying a thinset mortar layer to the primer layer; (e) drying the board after step d; (f) applying a plaster layer to the thinset mortar layer; (g) drying the board after step f; and (h) applying a sealant layer to the plaster layer.

Described herein are methods for installing field-assembled flooring systems that include isolation boards on a wall frame, a subfloor, or on both the wall frame and the subfloor. The underlayment can be a hybrid design that includes a combination of isolation panels and cementitious product. The field-assembled flooring systems can use mold-resistant isolation boards to reduce or eliminate the chances of the onset of mold and effects from water damage. The isolation boards can be installed on floors alone, on walls alone, or on both floors and walls to reduce the onset of mold and/or to reduce damage from water.
