FIRE-RESISTANT COMPOSITE STRUCTURAL BUILDING PANELS
A composite skinned panel is disclosed which uses, in some embodiments, a combination of cementitious, insulative and ablative core materials to provide a building panel which can effectively meet a variety of different commercial, residential and marine fire codes. For example, one such fire test is an A60 fire rating (International Marine Organization (IMO) A60 Class A Bulkhead), which establishes that the panel provide 60 minutes of protection from a front side temperature of 1750° F. without raising the internal temperature more than 250° F.
Fire resistant panel member and method for producing a fire resistant panel member
A fire resistant panel member and a related method for producing a fire resistant panel member where the panel member includes a first layer, a second layer covering at least a portion of a surface of the first layer, the first and second layers each comprising a pigmented polyester resin and a first organic peroxide, a third layer covering at least a portion of a surface of the second layer, a substantially rigid core member covering at least a portion of a surface of the third layer, and a fourth layer covering at least a portion of a surface of the core member, the third and fourth layers each comprising a polyester resin, a flame retardant, a second organic peroxide, and a fiber material, wherein the panel member is configured to have an ASTM E84 Class I fire and smoke rating.
POLYISOCYANURATE COVERBOARDS WITH IMPROVED FIRE RESISTANCE
A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft.sup.3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.
DIMENSIONALLY STABLE BUILDING PANEL
Described herein is a building panel and related building systems, the building panel having a first major surface opposite a second major surface, the building panel comprising a core comprising a first body comprising a first fibrous material; and a second body comprising a second fibrous material, a veneer facing layer coupled to the core, the veneer facing layer comprising a plurality of perforations.
Flame retardant clear coatings for building panels
Described herein is a flame-retardant building panel comprising a body having a first major surface opposite a second major surface, an inorganic coating atop the first major surface, the inorganic coating being optically transparent and flame retardant and comprising a silicate compound; and wherein the inorganic flame retardant coating is substantially transparent such that the first major surface of the body is visible through the inorganic coating.
Composite fireproof board and method of processing and preparing the same
A composite fireproof board has structure that includes, from top to bottom, a bottom layer, a lower reinforcement mesh layer, a middle layer, an upper reinforcement mesh layer, and a surface layer. The middle layer includes an organic frame and an inorganic fireproof material filled within the frame. The frame is provided with fixed grooves on edges adjacent to the fireproof material, and is further provided with through holes.

FIRE-RESISTANT HEAT-INSULATION COMPOSITION, FIRE-RESISTANT HEAT-INSULATION COMPOSITION SLURRY, FIRE-RESISTANT HEAT-INSULATION BOARD, AND FIRE-RESISTANT HEAT-INSULATION STRUCTURE
Provided is a structure having both fire resistance and heat insulation properties and capable of retaining its shape without being collapsed or deformed even when exposed to a flame. The present invention provides a fire-resistant heat-insulation composition comprising 70 to 250 parts by mass of gypsum based on 100 parts by mass of calcium aluminate having a CaO content of 34% or more, and 0.1 to 20 parts by mass of a fibrous inorganic clay mineral having a crystallization water ratio of 5% or more, based on 100 parts by mass of the total of the calcium aluminate and the gypsum.
Structure and method for connecting a composite insulation exterior wall panel and a steel structural beam-column
The present invention discloses a structure for connecting a composite insulation exterior wall panel and a steel structural beam-column, including a steel structural beam and a steel structural column making up a a steel structural body. A filling insulation layer is provided at a gap of the steel structural body. A composite insulation panel connecting assembly is wrapped at a junction between the steel structural beam and the steel structural column. The composite insulation panel connecting assembly is connected to a horizontal composite insulation panel assembly, via a staggered seam, in a horizontal direction, and the composite insulation panel connecting assembly is connected to a vertical composite insulation panel assembly, via a staggered seam, in a vertical direction.
Insulating construction panels, systems and methods
An insulated construction panel having a top end, a bottom end, a first end, a second end, a front side and a rear side, the panel for constructing a single or multi-thickness concrete form, the panel including regularly spaced coplanar passages extending completely through the panel from the top end of the panel toward and through to the bottom end of the panel. For each of the regularly spaced coplanar passages, an angular passage perpendicularly intersecting each coplanar passage at the top end and extending toward and through a portion of a front side surface of the front side and rear side surface of the rear side of the panel, each angular passage extending only partially through the panel from the top end toward the bottom end. For each of the regularly spaced coplanar passages, an angular passage perpendicularly intersecting each coplanar passage at the bottom end and extending toward and through a portion of the front side surface of the front side and the rear side surface of rear side of the panel, each angular passage extending only partially through the panel from the bottom end toward the top end.
