A construction block (100) including a rigid outer shell (106) and a thermally insulating insert (112). The outer shell (106) defines a pair of outer shell side elements (114, 116) extending substantially vertically and substantially parallel to each other and at least one outer shell transversal element (132) extending between the outer shell side elements (114, 116). The outer shell side and transversal elements (114, 116, 132) are hollow and together define an outer shell cavity (110) delimited by the outer shell (106). The insert (112) is contained inside the outer shell cavity (110).

Masonry Block System

A masonry block system that includes a stretcher block and a half block, each block having connector means for interlocking with an adjacent block, the blocks being constructed in a such a manner as to enable quick and easy assembly of a building structure.

Interlocking blocks and assembly of interlocking structures

A set of interlocking blocks consists a plurality of first blocks and a plurality of second blocks capable of forming kinematic interlock. Each of the first blocks and second blocks comprise at least one male joint and female joint for mating with its counterpart. The motion of the first blocks and second blocks are constrained by joints. Subsequent first blocks and/or second blocks reinforce and immobilize prior first blocks and/or second blocks. Assembly of an interlock structure consisting the set of interlocking blocks may be performed via translation motions.

Modular building blocks and building system

Devices, structures, and methods for designing, constructing, and fitting modular structural building blocks together into a unified structure. Modular blocks are rapidly fit together into finished assemblies. Finished assemblies include reinforcing elements aligned in a structurally sound pattern. The unified structure includes walls, provisions for corners, and provisions for door/window spaces. The unified structure optionally includes raised floors or lowered ceilings, offset from ordinary associated height, using blocks disposed side-by-side with intermediate supports. The unified structure optionally includes one or more curved structures, such as vaulted ceilings, rounded walls or silos, tunnels, or otherwise.

Composite Frame Brick Embodiment

The present invention is a frame brick (10) having a brick body (12) made of composite material and which is in hollow box form and which comprises at least one type of fiber and at least one type of resin, and at least one connection extension (15) which is one-piece with said brick body (12) and which provides connection to another structure element with the same characteristics. As an improvement, at least one cutout (201) is provided at least partially in the direction of the height of the brick body (12) on at least one of two wall surfaces (20) extending mutually on a brick length section (19) of the brick body (12).

Block, block system and method of making a block

A block, block system and method of making a wall block. A block with multiple embodiments of a visually exposed surface having three dimensional shaped areas and three dimensional angular valleys or joints that can be used to construct a patio, wall, fence or the like; the multiple embodiments creating a more random and natural appearance. A mold box having a moveable liner and a stripper shoe that impart three dimensional shaped areas and three dimensional angular valleys or joints onto an exposed surface of a block. The moveable liner and stripper shoe also impart a parting line onto the exposed surface of the block.

BLOCKS, BLOCK SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MAKING BLOCKS

A block, block system and method of making a wall block. Multiple block embodiments with multiple embodiments of a visually exposed surface having three dimensional shaped areas and three dimensional angular valleys or joints that can be used to construct a patio, wall, fence or the like; the multiple embodiments creating a more random and natural appearance.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING A SET OR STAGE
20190242126 · 2019-08-08 ·

A modular wall assembly has one or more wall portions defined by one or more rows of stacked wall modules. Two wall portions can be spaced from each other to define an opening for a door. A header assembly can be attached over the two wall portions to distribute load onto both wall portions and define a top portion of the opening for the door. A door frame with an adjustable throat can extend over side edges of the two wall portions and the bottom edge of the header assembly to mount a door (e.g., double-door, panic doors) to the modular wall assembly. Buttress walls, having removable counterweights, can extend perpendicular to the wall portions to counteract forces on the wall portions. The wall assembly can be supported on a skid plate that facilitates alignment of the wall modules when assembling the wall portions of the wall assembly. The skid plate can have resilient material that facilitates leveling of the wall modules relative to a support surface underneath the skid plate.

CONNECTION SURFACE FOR A STRUCTURAL UNIT AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME

A connection surface disposed on a face of a structural unit comprises a first segment having a three dimensional surface profile including a plurality of positive outer surfaces extending outwardly along a normal direction from a plane and a plurality of negative outer surfaces extending inwardly along the normal direction from the plane, wherein at least two of the plurality of positive outer surfaces are separated from one another along both vertical and horizontal directions and at least two of the plurality of negative outer surfaces are separated from one another along vertical and horizontal directions. A second segment opposes the first segment with respect to an axis, wherein the second segment is a substantial reflection of the first segment across the axis, but reversed along the normal direction.
