BUILDING SYSTEM AND METHOD UTILIZING INTEGRATED INSULATION
20210087814 · 2021-03-25 ·

A panelized building system and method of construction utilizing a rigid framing combined with foam insulation is disclosed. The system may include a metal roof panel, at least one metal wall panel, a floor panel, at least one metal corner post and at least one foundational component. A single layer of foam insulation encapsulates partially fills a rigid framing and may be molded against a non-stick surface or bonded to an exterior building material. In either case, a single monolithic piece is formed. A utility cavity may be formed interior to the single layer of foam insulation. The exterior face may be textured, undulated, radiused, or shaped in myriad ways.

A joist reinforcement apparatus is disclosed for a joist having a top chord, a bottom chord, and plurality of cross supports extending between the top chord and the bottom chord, the plurality of cross supports forming panel points along the joist. A panel point bracket assembly can be securable about one of the panel points of the joist. A load bracket assembly can be securable to either the top chord or the bottom chord of the joist. An adjustable coupling assembly can have a first end pivotally connected to the panel point bracket assembly and a second end pivotally connected to the load bracket assembly. The apparatus can help provide non-welded single point load reinforcement on a chord of a joist.

Composite structural member for a building structure

A composite structural member for a building structure comprises a first elongate portion having a first end region and a second end region and a second elongate portion having a first end region and a second end region. The second end region of the first elongate portion is connected to the first end region of the second elongate portion so that the composite structural member provided thereby is substantially longer than either of the first and second elongate portions. The first elongate portion may comprise a first member suited for resisting high magnitude forces and the second elongate portion may be a second member, less well suited for resisting high forces but having lower cost per unit length. The composite structural member may be a rafter, especially a rafter of a portal frame.

Cross-Struts for Beam Assemblies

The present technology relates to beams having a cross section defining a plurality of channels and assemblies comprising the beams. The beams can be used to form a beam assembly that is installed inside the truck bed of a pick-up truck. A ladder loader and a solar panel assembly can be pivotably secured to the beam assembly along either the driver side wall or the passenger side wall of the truck bed.

FIRE-RATED WALL AND CEILING SYSTEM

The present application is directed toward fire-rated wall construction components and wall systems for use in building construction. Embodiments can include tracks for holding studs which incorporate various geometries capable of receiving fire-retardant material, flat straps for use between tracks and fluted wall components, fire sponges for use in fluted wall components, and tracks with protruding grooves or other structures which prevent unwanted air movement between a wallboard component and the track.

Supplemental support structure for hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus and method of providing supplemental support for hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus

Supplemental support structure for a hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus having vertical supports and a grid of parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members attached to and supported by the vertical supports is disclosed. The supplemental support structure may include vertical support caps attached to the hot aisle/cold aisle forming apparatus above the vertical supports and the grid of parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members and a grid of elongated cross supports. Each of the elongated cross supports may be connected to and supported by at least two of the vertical support caps at an angle of other than 0, 90, 180, and 270 with the parallel and perpendicular rows of elongated grid members.
