Structural joists and methods to manufacture the same
A joist is disclosed. The joist includes a first leg portion, a second leg portion, and a central portion, wherein each of the first leg portion and the second leg portion define a first side, a second side, and a distal side, a first lap portion and a second lap portion located at the central portion, and one or more stiffener defined within each of the first side, the second side, and the distal side of the first leg portion and the second leg portion.
Attachment Systems for Pultruded, Extruded, and Molded Parts
A structural member comprising an integrally formed connector portion on two or more elements for forming the structural member, wherein a first connector portion on a first element is shaped to engage a second connector portion on a second element.
Extruded Aluminum Roof Truss Manufacturing System and Methods
A method for manufacturing, transporting, and installing an extruded aluminum roof truss by manufacturing an extrusion that comprises a top chord extrusion, a bottom chord extrusion, a web brace extrusion, manufacturing standardized components such as a connector, a hinge, a bracket, and a fastener used to configure the extrusion into a truss configuration, pre-assembling the extrusion with an optionally pre-determined set of the standardized components required to either fully or partially assemble the truss prior to transport and installation at the building site, transporting the truss in either a fully or partially assembled compact configuration to the installation site, rotating the truss open by pivoting the web bracing into alignment with a matching connector hole on an extrusion at the installation site, and installing any required connectors or remaining standardized components to complete the truss.
STRUCTURAL STUD POST WITH THERMAL BREAK
A structural stud post assembly comprising a center receiver section having opposing receiver channels formed by side walls and angled flanges, and a pair of raceway inserts also defining a raceway channel for accepting wiring and equipment to be disposed in the raceway. The raceways can be installed in the receiver channels to accept and accommodate wiring and equipment. The center receiver comprises a thermal break at about a midpoint to prevent there from being a metal-to-metal thermally conductive pathway through the stud. The structural stud post may be used in the construction of modular building systems.
Three-dimensional positioning and holding module system for modular workstations
A Three-Dimensional Positioning and Holding Modular System for office and industrial work stations including embodiments of multi-rail beams and rail-arm-leg modules. The embodiments have tubes, bars, or channels arranged and connected in ways that provide improved ability to transmit torque along a long axis of the multi-rail beam while providing improved resistance to twisting under the forces of the torque.
Elongate structural element, a bracket and an elongate structural section
A bracket is combined with a rail that is to be attached to an elongate structural element by the bracket. The bracket includes a body and a bolt. The body is configured for attachment to the elongate structural element. The body defines a shoulder from which the rail is attached so that the rail is connected to the element. The bolt is engaged with the rail and is movable to engage the body. The body has a threaded passage to engage the bolt to fix the rail to the body.
Modular system for creating a structure, module connector and structure comprising a modular system
Modular system for creating a structure, in particular a building component, comprising at least one post profile (2), at least one ceiling profile (3) and at least one floor profile (4) for a basic framework of a first modular unit (50, 50′, 50″, 50′″), at least one further post profile (2), at least one further ceiling profile (3) and at least one further floor profile (4) for a basic framework of a second modular unit (50, 50′, 50″, 50′″), and a module connector (38) for connecting the first and the second modular unit (50, 50′, 50″, 50′″), wherein the post profile (2) has a first pin holding fixture (55) and the further post profile (2) has a second pin holding fixture (55), wherein the module connector (38) has a first connecting pin (39) for insertion into the first pin holding fixture (55) and a second connecting pin (40) for insertion into the second pin holding fixture (55), and wherein the module connector (38) has a supporting element (41) on which the first and second connecting pins (39, 40) are arranged.
Profile, frame and promotion booth for the construction of stands and/or for interior applications and/or for exterior applications, a method for making the profile and a use of the profile
A profile for the construction of stands for affixing booth elements includes an affixing side wall extending along a first direction of the profile. The affixing side wall is provided with an affixing surface for affixing a strip to the profile between a first affixing side wall edge and a second opposite affixing side wall edge. The affixing surface extends along the first direction of the profile, and is at least partly bordered by at least one flange for flangingly affixing the strip by flanging over the flange.
Monolithic corner
A monolithic corner encapsulates one or more panels while maintaining structural integrity and maintain hygienic properties. The corner may securely receive one or more panels and provide flexibility to easily adjust the one or more panels. The corner may simplify installation and an ability to adjust connected panels without compromising safety, installation time, and sterility.
SERRATED BEAM
A structural member section is provided that may be comprised of horizontal top and bottom flange elements interconnected by one or more vertical web member. The top flange of the member is serrated such that a series of serrations protrude horizontally in at least one direction from a top of the one or more vertical web member or are cut-out from the flange of a rolled shape. In one embodiment, the serrated top flange and at least a portion of the web member are intended to be encased by a horizontal concrete slab or slab-on-deck assembly. The slab material is capable of encasing all exposed surfaces of and curing around each serration to transfer horizontal shear forces between the serrated top flange and the slab material such that the member and slab behave compositely without needing additional reinforcing located within the voids between serrations.
