The present invention is directed to a fitting profile (1), a fitting profile system, and an assembly method of the fitting profile system. Said profile (1) comprises two tabs (2, 3) perpendicularly connected to each other at a joint (9). At its inner (20) surface, tab (2) comprises a shoulder (10) with a fitting member (6) of the male type disposed thereon. At its end, tab (3) comprises a fitting member (7) of the female type. The shape of each of said fitting members (6, 7) is complementary to each other so as to allow a fitting attachment into another identically shaped profile. Profile (1) is particularly intended to be built-in in panels in order to facilitate and simplify their coupling.

The present technology relates to beams having a cross section defining a plurality of channels and assemblies comprising the beams. The beams can be used to form a beam assembly that is installed inside the truck bed of a pick-up truck. A ladder loader is pivotably secured to the beam assembly along either the driver side wall or the passenger side wall of the truck bed, with the ladder loader being pivoted between a stow position where the ladder loader is above the beam assembly, and a deployed position where the ladder loader is positioned outside either the driver side wall or the passenger side wall.

The present technology relates to beams having a cross section defining a plurality of channels and assemblies comprising the beams. In embodiments the cross section may define four channels, facing in four directions. The cross section has the advantages of providing structural channels that provide strength, platforms for attaching sliding and fastening components, and conduits for protecting internal components. The interior and exterior surfaces of the channels are configured to permit multiple carriers to slide/roll in linear motion independently in multiple directions, with smooth action and stability due to one or more guiding features to distribute load. These and other embodiments are discussed in greater detail in the detailed description and drawing figures.

STRUCTURAL ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME

A structural assembly comprises a first extruded component having a length and a constant cross section. The cross section defines a first cavity and a second cavity separated by a wall of the first extruded component. An aperture extends through the wall between the first and second cavities. Second and third extruded components have respective lengths and constant cross sections. A first connector is positioned within the first cavity of the first extruded component and extends into the second extruded component. A second connector is positioned within the second cavity of the first extruded component and extends into the third extruded component. A fastener extends through the first connector, the aperture, and the second connector and is configured to secure the first and second connectors to the first extruded component.
