WATERPROOFING AND SAFETY-INCREASING PREFABRICATED BUILDING FRAMING SYSTEM AND METHOD
20250230651 · 2025-07-17 · ·

A waterproof and safety framing system is disclosed. The framing system includes a building defining an opening, a wall panel, and a framing assembly. The framing assembly includes receiver and a bottom track. The receiver is installed along an edge of the opening, with the receiver including a receiver bottom wall that defines a receiver ridge extending along a length of the receiver. The bottom track is attached to an edge of the wall panel and including a track bottom wall that defines a track ridge, with the receiver and the bottom track matingly engaging such that the bottom track overlays the receiver and the receiver ridge and the track ridge are proximal one another. The framing assembly is structured to prevent the wall panel from passing through the opening in a first direction.

Insulated Engineered Structural Member
20230193628 · 2023-06-22 ·

An engineered structural member for use as, for example a stud, and a method for producing an engineered structural member, includes producing two flange members, preferably from nominal dimension solid lumber, providing slots in the flange members to receive opposite edges of a thin web, and assembling the edges of the web into the flange member slots to form an assemble engineered structural member. Preferably, an adhesive is used to bond the flange members to the web. An insulating material such as a rigid foam also may be arranged in the open spaces between the flange members at the exposed sides of the web to increase insulating capacity. The engineered structural member provides increased insulation capacity to a structure while reducing structure weight, improving strength and improving dimensional instability.

Dry-Construction Stud and Dry-Construction Wall with a Dry-Construction Stud
20230183976 · 2023-06-15 · ·

The invention relates to a dry-connection stud having a web and a first and second flange connected to the web, wherein flange beads are provided in at least one of the flanges, wherein the flange beads each extend in the longitudinal direction of the stud over a flange bead length that is less than an overall length of the stud, wherein the flange beads are disposed at a center distance from each other. The invention further relates to a dry-construction wall with such a dry-construction stud.

TRACK SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING WALL STUDS

An apparatus for supporting and retaining a plurality of parallel spaced apart wall studs comprises a longitudinally extending base having first and second side edges and first and second opposed sidewalls extending generally perpendicular to the base from the first and second side edges, wherein the base and sidewalls together define a trough for receiving and retaining an end portion of the plurality of wall studs. The apparatus further comprises a plurality of clips sized to fit within and extend transversely across the trough, each of the plurality of clips having first and second tabs extending from the base wherein the first and second tabs each define a slot with a corresponding of the first and second sidewalls sized to receive a portion of the wall studs therein.

An improved steel stud wall panel which includes a diagonal member able to be placed under tension during installation. The diagonal tension imparts rigidity to the wall panel, preventing warp.

CONCRETE FORMWORK STEEL STUD AND SYSTEM
20170328060 · 2017-11-16 ·

A formwork stud system includes a plurality of studs, a top channel, a bottom channel and a plurality of horizontal and vertical rebars. At least one of the plurality of studs is a formwork stud. The formwork stud includes a web and a pair of flanges. The web has opposed side portions extending from the top of the formwork stud to the bottom of the formwork stud and a plurality of lateral spaced apart connectors extending between the opposed side portions. The opposed side portions and the lateral spaced apart connectors define a plurality of spaced apart holes. The holes are configured to allow concrete to flow therethrough. The pair of flanges extend generally orthogonally from the opposed side portions of the web.

Backing Connector

A connection between a stud and one or more separate backing members is made with separate fasteners and a backing connector. The backing connector has a planar web with first and lateral side plates extending therefrom, with the backing members attached to the first and second side plates and the web of the backing connector attached to the stud.

Light steel roof truss with structure of double continuous beam
09803364 · 2017-10-31 · ·

A light steel roof truss with a structure of a double continuous beam includes structural beams (1) and structural columns (2). The structural beam (1) consists of a pair of continuous beams, and the structural column (2) is located between the two continuous beams through locating holes (4). Thereby the stability of a support structure of the roof truss is increased, and the supporting members of the roof truss can be connected conveniently.

STIFFENED BEAM ASSEMBLY
