Adjustment part
An adjustment part for adjusting, in conjunction with installation and fastening, the vertical straightness or position of railing type assemblies, such as glass railings, extending in vertical direction and being fastenable by a bottom edge region, said adjustment part being placed at a fastening point of the railing assembly between the railing assembly and a mounting surface therefor, said adjustment part comprising two mutually inclinable components, a space established between these components for locking a relative position of said mutually inclinable components with a hardening mass, as well as a conduit extending from an external surface of the adjustment part into said space for supplying said space with the hardening mass.
SPRING ACTION CLIP FOR BALUSTERS
A railing system includes an upper rail and a lower rail spaced from the upper rail. The railing system also includes a plurality of balusters positioned between the upper rail and the lower rail. The railing system further includes a clip configured to attach one baluster of the plurality of balusters to the lower rail or the upper rail. The clip includes a baluster engagement portion configured to be received within an open end of the one baluster. The clip further includes a tab extending from the baluster engagement portion. The tab includes a fin portion configured to be inserted within one aperture of a plurality of apertures of the upper rail or the lower rail. The tab also includes a spring portion coupled to the fin portion. The spring portion is configured to secure the clip to the upper rail or the lower rail.
Post and Railing Mount
A post and railing mount is disclosed. The post and railing mount includes a mounting bracket having a plurality of vertical corner supports and a railing plate and a newel corner post having a plurality of corners, each of the vertical corner supports are secured to each of the corners. The post and railing mount also includes the vertical corner supports with a pair of perpendicular portions that wrap around the corners of the newel corner post. The perpendicular portions include a top perpendicular portion and a bottom perpendicular portion. The bottom perpendicular portion includes a plurality of apertures to accommodate a plurality of corresponding fasteners that extend through the apertures to attach the bottom perpendicular portion to a surface.
Wall Attachment Device for Handrail and Handrail Assembly Comprising the Same
A wall attachment device for securing a handrail to a supporting wall, the handrail having a first end and a second end, at least one of the first and second ends being hollow and including an inner connecting member extending radially inwardly within the corresponding end, the device comprising: a body sized and shaped to be received in the corresponding end, the body including a planar rear face adapted to be positioned against the supporting wall, a front face opposite the rear face and a lateral face, the body further having at least one fastener opening to receive a fastener for securing the body to the supporting wall; and an outer connecting member extending radially outwardly from the lateral face for securely engaging the inner connecting member of the handrail to thereby attach the corresponding one of the first and second ends of the handrail to the supporting wall.
Slide-Glide Privacy Blind Barrier System
A deck system includes a baluster actuator device that moves balusters from an open position to a closed position. The movable balusters are positioned in the open position to at least partially open the baluster gaps between the stationary balusters, and the movable balusters are positioned in the closed position to close the baluster gaps between the stationary balusters. The balusters further include one or more functional modules secured to module inserts defined in the balusters.
FRICTION PICKET SYSTEM
A unitary railing portion for a railing assembly may include a top portion, a bottom portion, a first side portion, and a second side portion. At least one aperture in the unitary railing portion may be configured for inserting a baluster along an axis of insertion between the first side portion and the second side portion. A channel may be extended from the first side portion and a cantilevered arm may be extended from the second side portion. A retaining element may be disposed at least partially in the channel. The retaining element and the cantilevered arm may be configured to retain the baluster relative to the unitary railing portion. In some examples, the unitary railing portion may be included in a railing assembly. The railing assembly may include at least one unitary railing portion and at least one baluster inserted into the unitary railing portion.
Railing system
A rail system. The rail system includes an upper rail member, a lower rail member and a plurality of balusters. The upper rail member, lower rail member and balusters secure together and to a support structure to form the rail system. The support structure may include columns, newels, walls and the like. The upper and lower rail members each include a cap that snaps onto a rail support. Fasteners may fasten the balusters directly to an upper rail support. Fasteners may further fasten the balusters directly to a lower cap.
HAND RAIL SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED COMPONENTS AND METHODS
A hand rail system and associated methods. Newel posts of the hand rail system can be mounted in a top mount configuration or a lateral mount configuration. Mounts are receivable in a boot subassembly in a horizontal or vertical arrangement for anchoring the boot subassembly to substructure. After anchoring of the boot subassembly, a column subassembly may be installed and anchored. Openings in the boot and column subassemblies permit access to the interior of the newel post for anchoring the boot and column subassemblies and for connecting a hand rail to the column subassembly. Subsequent installation of covers on the boot subassembly and column subassembly closes the newel post and provides a finished appearance free of external indication that openings in the newel post existed and have been covered. Four-sided turned newels, newel panel retainers, and associated methods are also disclosed.
RAILING STRUCTURE
A railing structure has a railing pipe and at least one assembling block. The railing pipe is made of aluminum material and has two assembling face symmetrically adjacent to the two openings. The assembling block is made of a metal material having a hardness higher than that of aluminum. The assembling block is formed with a plate with two perpendicular side boards symmetrically disposed along two sides, each side board has a groove partially covered by a positioning tongue, and a free end of the positioning tongue faces toward the plate, each side board of the assembling block configured for being placed in a corresponding opening of the railing tube. The plate completely covers the opening, and the positioning tongue inserts under the assembling face, thereby achieving that the assembling block cannot be separated from the railing pipe in a non-destructive state.
