Restraint system for elevated flooring tiles

A restraint system for an elevated building surface assembly including restraint members that are receivable in gaps adjacent outer edge segments of flooring units to secure the flooring units to an underlying support structure. The restraint members may be readily manipulated to allow for the selective removal of one or more of the flooring units for replacement thereof, access to the support structure, and/or the like.

HIDDEN CLIP AND FASTENING SYSTEM FOR DECKING

A universal magazine mounts to a hand-operated power tool that will automatically feed a hidden deck board clip to the tool head from a strip of such clips and position the clips one at a time under the power tool's driving mechanism. The strip includes multiple hidden clips separated by a frangible section or tab located between adjacent clips. Each hidden clip can be formed of a plastic material and include a locating tab defined on each side of the clip's body and fastener aperture defined in a center of the body. Further, strips can be adapted for manual use and manipulation rather than for use with a power tool.

CLIP AND CLIP INSTALLATION APPARATUS

This invention relates to clip (1) and clip installation apparatus and more particularly, but not exclusively, to a decking board clip for securing decking boards to a support structure and apparatuses for installing decking board clips. The clip comprising a body having an inner part (3) made of a first material and an outer part (4) made of a second material, the body having a first retaining formation and a second retaining formation (8), the first retaining formation being resiliently moveable between an engaged position in which it engages in a groove of a decking board to provide a bias onto part of the groove and a disengaged position wherein it is not engaged inside the groove of the decking board and extends freely from the body, the body also having a receiving formation (5) for receiving a fastener to fasten the clip to a support.

Roof paver locking system and methods for installing pavers
09982439 · 2018-05-29 ·

An apparatus and methods lock together pavers on a roof deck to reduce uplift pressure and increase stability and strength in a variety of environmental conditions. More specifically, a paver lock apparatus is placed in grooves on the top side of a multiple of pavers and locked to a stationary object, such as the roof or a pedestal placed on the roof underneath the deck. Roof pavers are manufactured with grooves on the paver surface to hold the paver lock apparatus. The pavers are loose laid on paver pedestals and the paver lock apparatus is laid into the grooves of multiple adjacent pavers and locked into place by connecting the paver lock apparatus to the paver pedestal.
