An anchor comprises a conduit for receiving a flexible elongate member therethrough. The conduit has an internal region and first and second openings. The flexible elongate member can extend through the first and second openings and through the internal region of the conduit. The conduit is a curved, substantially U-shaped elongate tubular member.

Anchorage template for building walls and method
11643830 · 2023-05-09 · ·

A sill plate anchorage assembly for supporting prefabricated building walls includes an elongated member having spaced holes. A concrete formwork defines a space for receiving concrete to form a foundation to support the elongated member. The elongated member may be supported temporarily from the formwork. Anchor shafts extend within each of the spaced holes and extend below the elongated member into the space defined by the concrete formwork. After forming and curing the concrete, nuts or other fasteners are tightened over the upper ends of the anchor shafts to secure the elongated member against the foundation. The upper portions of the spaced holes may include enlarged recesses for receiving the fasteners. Indicia marked upon the elongated member may show the location and type of pass-through regions. A method to secure a horizontal sill plate to an underlying concrete foundation to support vertical building wall panels is also disclosed.

An anchor assembly for being embedded in concrete includes a metal plate including an opening, the metal plate including a top surface and bottom surface; the opening including a wall extending from the top surface or the bottom surface; and a threaded rod operably attached to the metal plate.

Form for casting a concrete light pole base
09821495 · 2017-11-21 · ·

A process and form for casting a concrete light pole base having a decorative upper portion with a configuration for mounting a light pole. The form includes a base having an opening in which a resilient insert is positioned. The insert has openings for holding threaded ends of mounting bolts and for positioning wiring conduits. Ends of the bolts extend from the insert into the mold cavity. Different inserts may be used to accommodate different light pole mounting specifications. A first form section for shaping a decorative upper portion of the light pole base is positioned on the base, and forms for shaping the cylindrical lower end of the light pole base are secured above the first form section.

Cap for risers in concrete decks

An assembly creates annular voids in concrete around the distal end of cylindrical tubes. A cap has a flat top and a cylindrical, depending skirt. An annular, foam plug extends between the inside of the skirt and the outer diameter of the tube. The plug has an undeformed inner diameter smaller than an outer diameter of the tube to create an interference fit around the tube and keep concrete out when the cap is on the end of the tube. The plug has a radial thickness of 0.3 to 1 inch, and has an axial length of 1 to 3 inches, with a bottom of the plug located at a bottom of the skirt. The cap is glued to the end of the tube for pressure testing. After the tube is entrained in concrete, the cap and plug are removed to leave a void in the concrete surface.

ANCHORING ELEMENT AND METHOD FOR MOUNTING AN ANCHOR RAIL IN A STRUCTURAL BODY OF CONCRETE

An anchoring element for casting in concrete has an anchor rail having a plurality of anchor protrusions and a strip-shaped receptacle for mounting fastening elements. At least one retaining bracket is fixed to the anchor rail, which engages over the anchor rail perpendicularly to its longitudinal direction and by means of which the anchor rail can be fixed to a formwork component. At least one flange projecting laterally from the anchor rail is formed on the retaining bracket.

JOINT EDGE ASSEMBLY AND FORMWORK FOR FORMING A JOINT, AND METHOD FOR FORMING A JOINT

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provides a joint edge assembly and a reusable multiple position height adjuster and method of positioning and installing joint edge assembly and the reusable multiple position height adjuster for forming two adjacent concrete slabs and a joint between such adjacent concrete slabs.

BRACKET AND ADJUSTABLE STRUCTURES FOR LEVELING A BUILDING
20220235566 · 2022-07-28 · ·

A bracket forms one or more U-channel for receiving a beam that supports a portion of a building. An adjustable structure for supporting a beam includes the bracket and a concrete footer or pier having an anchor bolt, wherein the anchor bolt has one end securely embedded within the concrete and threaded end extending upward from the concrete. A leveling nut is threaded onto the anchor bolt below a base plate of the bracket, a top nut is threaded onto the second end of the anchor bolt above the base plate, and a block is disposed between the concrete footer or pier and the base plate to support the weight of the beam. The adjustable structure enables a person to adjust the elevation of an identified portion of a building that is not level.

CONCRETE DOWEL PLACEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
20210402666 · 2021-12-30 ·

A concrete dowel placement system and methods for making the same. The system allows for accurate and easy substantially-parallel or parallel placement of slip dowels within sections of concrete so that adjacent sections of concrete may be allowed to undergo thermal expansion and contraction while remaining in a common plane without cracking or faulting. The system includes a coupler and a sheath. The sheath is configured to be slidably extensible over the coupler and may be held to the coupler by friction. An outer surface of the sheath may be textured. Additionally, a method of constructing the concrete dowel placement system includes extruding material to form two tubes of different sizes. The tubes are then attached to each other, then material is extruded or injection molded to form a sheath. Alternatively, construction may include extruding material to form a tube, then removing some of the material from the tube in order to form a coupler.
