Building roof safety assembly having a barrier and ladder restraint
A safety assembly is provided for placement on a roof of a building, near an edge of the roof, having a ladder restraint, an upstanding barrier, and a counterweight. The ladder restraint has an opening to receive a ladder that provides access to the roof. The opening is sized to restrict left and right sideways movement of the ladder. The upstanding barrier extends on left and right sides of the ladder restraint to block falls by a user. The counterweight is interconnected to both the ladder restraint and the upstanding barrier, and is disposed to prevent forward tipping of the upstanding barrier by the user, and to prevent sideways tipping of the ladder during use, when the safety assembly is placed on the roof and the ladder is received through the ladder restraint. The safety assembly may be assembled on the roof without penetrating the roof's waterproofing membrane.
Personal Safety Apparatus and System
A personal safety apparatus and systems include a mast connected to a base. The mast includes a plurality of mast sections and is vertically extendable from the base between a collapsed position and an extended position. A jib is rotatably connected to the mast. The jib is moveable between a first position wherein the jib is generally parallel to the mast and a second position wherein the jib extends outward from the mast. The jib includes a first jib arm and a second jib arm. The second jib arm is moveable relative to the first jib arm. An anchor point is secured to the jib. The anchor point is configured to connect to a cable configured to secure to a person.
Fencing base with ballast weight
A ballast weight is provided for a base for supporting tubular fencing poles on spigots. The ballast weight is in the form of a removable slab of molded plastics which in its underside has groove portions to receive frame members of the base. The end of the slab lies over a central transverse member of the frame and has a recess to accommodate the spigots. A pair of identical slabs can be used, one each side of the central transverse member of the frame.
Fence with Stackable Supports
Stackable supports for supporting upright fence posts are arranged in overlying relationship, forming an X shape with sockets (30) extending from the support blocks (22) up through openings (44) of the cross blocks that receive the end portions of the fence posts (15), with lock pins (50) that extend through the aligned openings of the sockets and the fence posts.
MODULAR FREE-STANDING BALLASTED GUARDRAIL SYSTEM
The modular free-standing ballasted guardrail system is a versatile and adaptable safety solution designed to protect personnel working at heights, particularly on rooftops. Comprising a support foot, attachable stanchion, leverage bar, and counterweight bases, the system offers flexibility through multiple configurations. T-head bolts preferably facilitate a modular assembly process, allowing easy attachment of the stanchion, leverage bar, and counterweights to the foot. The counterweight bases, which may be made of durable material like HDPE filled with cement or water, provide stability without penetrating the roof surface. The support foot may feature channels for slidable receipt of the stanchion and leverage bar, ensuring adjustability. Optional toe boards enhance safety by preventing the fall of objects. With interchangeable components, secure attachment mechanisms, and adaptability to various configurations, this guardrail system provides an effective and user-friendly solution for temporary edge protection on rooftops during construction or maintenance activities.

Railing base for a safety railing structure, guardrails
A railing base includes one rail post receptor and one counterweight receptor. The rail post receptor accommodates 1-4 railing posts. The counterweight receptor includes a hollow bottom allowing water drainage. The rail post receptor includes four upper receiving holes open towards the top, each configured to receive by insertion and to hold upright a railing post of a guardrail. The counterweight receptor accommodates concrete paver stones each of same determined square shape and size and stacked one on top of the other. The counterweight receptor is delimited at the bottom by a horizontal soleplate and laterally by four vertical side walls perpendicular to the soleplate. The side walls are adjusted to border and retain laterally the concrete paver stones. The counterweight receptor is open towards the top. The rail post receptor is arranged along one corresponding side wall of the counterweight receptor, the railing base being sheet metal.
